Cette excursion unique vous plonge dans l’histoire et la culture locales avec la découverte de Papeete, cœur historique et économique de l'île. Explorez des spots de surf tout en découvrant l’origine du surf, appelé Horue. Sous et sur l'eau, vous rencontrerez peut-être des dauphins, raies pastenagues, poissons multicolores et tortues vertes dans le lagon de Nuuroa. Nous pratiquons un snorkeling responsable, respectueux des écosystèmes marins et sensibilisons nos voyageurs à la biodiversité locale et à sa préservation. À bord de notre bateau moderne et confortable, vous profiterez de la protection d’un toit et de coussins en cuir marin, tout en écoutant de la musique via notre système audio Rockford Fosgate. Itinéraire
Départ de votre hôtel ou de la marina de Papeete, où votre capitaine et votre guide naturaliste vous accueilleront pour une aventure en mer inoubliable. Ensemble, vous mettrez le cap sur la passe de Papeete, tout en écoutant les récits fascinants de votre guide sur l'histoire du district de Teporionu, qui englobait autrefois Papeete, Pirae et Arue. Lors de votre navigation, préparez-vous à vivre un moment magique en observant peut-être des dauphins à longs becs jouer autour du bateau. C'est l'occasion idéale pour votre guide de partager ses connaissances sur les différentes espèces de cétacés que l'on peut observer en Polynésie et leur rôle essentiel dans cet écosystème marin.
Ensuite, vous ferez une pause au fameux spot des raies pastenagues, où vous rencontrerez Charlotte et ses compagnons. Dans ces eaux cristallines, vous aurez peut-être la chance d'observer des raies aigles glissant gracieusement et des poissons coffres qui suivent le courant du "hoa", un chenal naturel qui traverse cette zone. Ce moment magique vous permettra d'observer en snorkeling ces créatures fascinantes dans un cadre sous-marin serein et préservé.
Direction l'aquarium de Papa Whiskey. Ce lieu est un véritable joyau, offrant probablement l'un des plus magnifiques dégradés de bleu que Tahiti puisse offrir. L'eau, d'une limpidité exceptionnelle, vous invite à une exploration sans égale. Et il y a tant à découvrir sous la surface ! Vous pourrez admirer les vestiges d'un avion qui s'est écrasé dans les années 80, ainsi que des baleinières historiques, datant des années 1890-1900, utilisées lors de la chasse à la baleine. Mais l'aventure ne s'arrête pas là : plongez également dans un cadre étonnant où un bureau posé sur le fond marin avec un ordinateur portable immergé vous offre une occasion unique de prendre des photos surprenantes et mémorables. Une expérience inoubliable qui mêle histoire, mystère et beauté naturelle !
Avant de quitter le lagon, vous ferez une halte devant la vague de Taapuna, un spot emblématique pour tous les surfers ayant visité Tahiti. Ce lieu, apprécié pour ses vagues parfaites, vous offrira une vue imprenable sur l'océan et sur l'île de Tahiti. C’est également l’occasion idéale pour votre guide de vous expliquer la formation des passes et de vous sensibiliser aux enjeux environnementaux liés à la préservation des récifs coralliens et de l'écosystème marin qui les entoure.
Après une courte balade en mer le long de la barrière de corail, vous arriverez au spot de surf de Sapinus, situé en face du Musée, un lieu unique où se cache une source d'eau douce à seulement 3 mètres de profondeur. Ce site est un véritable sanctuaire pour les tortues vertes, qui y résident en permanence. Très sociables, elles évoluent sereinement autour de vous, tant que vous gardez une distance respectueuse. C’est l’occasion rêvée de vivre une expérience intime avec ces magnifiques créatures marines, tout en pratiquant le snorkeling dans des eaux cristallines derrière la barrière de corail.
Pour clore cette aventure en beauté, vous aurez l'opportunité de savourer un délicieux poisson cru à la tahitienne, un plat traditionnel emblématique de la Polynésie, apprécié par tous les voyageurs. Vous dégusterez ce mets rafraîchissant sur un vaste banc de sable, peu profond et entouré par les eaux turquoises du lagon. Pour accompagner ce moment, vous pourrez vous rafraîchir avec des jus de fruits locaux.

We had a great day out on the lagoon. The stand outs for us were the passion and commitment the team had to the welfare of the sea life and the care and attention they applied to making sure we were always safe in the water and comfortable. Getting to see and swim with the turtles was a highlight. The lunch was nice also ! We missed the whale watching season as it starts later in the month , but we will be back and join these guys again , Māuruuru roa !

Good communications prior to our adventure that focused on our snorkeling experience, health, and any dietary issues. Arrived at the pickup point on time. Very knowledgeable about marine life, did a good job teaching us about things we might see and did see. Very responsive to any need (getting wet suits on, getting in/out boat, something to drink). Healthy emphasis on safety. Very professional and friendly bunch.

Water can be a bit murky and lots of wind but the tour operators were awesome and gave us the complete tour both inside and outside of the water. We also had a delicious lunch!

We had an amazing day with our captain and guide! So knowledgeable about anything you wanted to know. True stewards of the environment and animals. We saw many fish in multiple spots and safety always top of mind. Ended our day with a tasty Tahitian lunch and drink. Would definitely do this again!!

These people go above and beyond to entertain and educate guests about marine life and Tahiti. They make it a fun excursion ending with a lunch standing waist deep in crystal clear water on a sand bar. Well worth the money.

Very nice tour of the lagoon and beyond. Did two different snorkel dives. Saw many fish and turtles. The guide and boat captain both nice and informative about the area. The Lunch was a delicious local fish bowl. Would definitely recommend.

Absolutely unforgettable! Adrienne was incredibly knowledgeable and kind, Israel brought the true “Mana” (he’s basically a whale whisperer!), and Teiki took such wonderful care of us. We were lucky enough to see spinning dolphins and several whales, and they explained everything so well—why we approached the way we did and how to respect the animals. The highlight was finding a mother and calf. We swam close enough that we actually had to back away to avoid touching them. Being in the water with these gentle giants was beyond words—truly a once-in-a-lifetime experience that I’ll never forget!
