Bienvenue à Bo-Kaap, l'un des quartiers les plus animés et les plus riches en histoire du Cap ! Connue pour ses maisons aux couleurs vives et ses rues pavées, Bo-Kaap est un centre culturel important. Initialement connu sous le nom de quartier malais, il a une histoire profonde enracinée dans l'arrivée d'esclaves de Malaisie, d'Indonésie et de diverses régions d'Afrique aux XVIIe et XVIIIe siècles. This was a spectacular trip to the Cape of Good Hope. Our itinerary was slightly different than the one listed here but we saw seals, baboons, ostriches, and penguins, along with extraordinary views off the coast. The Cape of Good Hope and the lighthouse were definite high points! Joel did a great job of putting all this together and making this a trip we will never forget.
