Un point fort de la journée est notre promenade dans le bush à travers les chutes Wentworth, qui est célèbre pour sa promenade sous la falaise, un sentier pittoresque qui serpente sous d'énormes surplombs de grès le long de la vallée de Jamison. Nous nous arrêterons pour le déjeuner et le temps libre dans le charmant village de Leura et terminerons la journée dans certains des belvédères les plus célèbres de Katoomba, y compris les Trois Sœurs. Nous commençons tôt, laissant la belle ville de Sydney derrière nous alors que nous nous dirigeons vers l'ouest. Environ 40 minutes plus tard, nous arrivons à notre premier arrêt : Featherdale Sydney Wildlife Park. C'est la maison de la plus grande collection d'animaux indigènes australiens dans le monde, avec plus de 2 000 animaux sur place. Featherdale est réputée pour ses rencontres rapprochées avec la faune. Ici, vous pouvez nourrir à la main des kangourous sympathiques, prendre une photo professionnelle avec un koala mignon et adorable, prendre un selfie avec « l'animal le plus heureux sur terre » le Quokka et rencontrer des Wombats, des Diables de Tasmanie et plus encore. Vous verrez également les couleurs vibrantes de la faune aviaire indigène d'Australie, y compris les Emus, les Cassowaries et les Kookaburras rieurs. Pour ceux qui ont hâte d'explorer le côté sauvage de l'Australie, certaines des créatures les plus célèbres du pays «effrayantes» sont également exposées, y compris les dingos, les crocodiles, les serpents et les araignées.
Un moment fort de la journée est notre visite à Wentworth Falls, l'une des chutes d'eau les plus impressionnantes de la région. Les chutes plongent près de 300 mètres au total, ce qui en fait l'une des plus hautes des Blue Mountains et une véritable marque de fabrique du circuit. Wentworth Falls est célèbre pour sa promenade sous la falaise, un sentier abrité et pittoresque qui serpente sous d'énormes surplombs de grès le long de la vallée de Jamison. Il est considéré comme l'une des plus belles promenades dans les Blue Mountains, offrant des perspectives dramatiques et des vues en constante évolution. Veuillez noter que la zone comprend des escaliers et comme le dit l'adage, ce qui descend doit remonter. Mais l'effort en vaut la peine, surtout avec le déjeuner qui attend à notre prochaine étape.
Nous visitons ensuite le village de Leura, largement considéré comme le plus joli village des Blue Mountains. Elégante, verdoyante et pleine de caractère, Leura est connue pour sa charmante rue principale et son atmosphère de montagne détendue. Profitez du temps libre pour déjeuner dans l'un des nombreux cafés, pâtisseries ou salons de thé, parcourir les boutiques et les librairies, ou tout simplement flâner et vous imprégner du cadre paisible de la montagne.
L'après-midi, vous vous rendrez à Echo Point, le point de vue le plus célèbre des Blue Mountains. Imprégnez-vous de la lumière dorée qui illumine les Trois Sœurs et projette une brume bleue envoûtante sur la vallée.

Great experience in the Blue Mountains. Very nice hike. Small group. Wonderful informative guide. Well timed stops.
Misty hike, might suggest hiking boots, but definitely doable. Wonderful vistas. Mark was an awesome host and guide. Name that tune-Aussie style was so much fun.
Mark was our guide. It was a true small group tour in a very comfortable van that was very clean and had great visibility. I am a big guy (well over 6 foot and not skinny) so van space is important to me on tours. The tour was over 9 hours, but the time flew by. The bushwalk was a highlight especially accented by Mark’s knowledge of the flora and fauna. We really enjoyed the time at the wildlife sanctuary and would love to have spent more time there, but all in all our time was managed very well. Mark’s audio commentary was excellent in the van and the sound system performed nicely which tends to be a problem on many tours we go on. We learned a lot about Australia. The bushwalk registered 17 flights and some 10,000 steps on my Apple Watch. The views were breathtaking and well worth the hike. We had perfect weather in mid April. We were in Sydney on a cruise ship stop for the day. We had complications due to customs, but the communication and accommodation by the company were excellent in arranging our pick up and drop off. BTW. The lunch was great and we appreciated the recommendations and suggestions from Mark as to what was available. We have no negative feedback whatsoever for this experience and would wholeheartedly recommend you go with them.

Amazing guide. Mark made the trip. He modified the walking to fit my wife’s knee while also showing us everything and challenging the rest of us to get some amazing views. His knowledge was deep and varied to make the day informative and entertaining. We did Australian music trivia on the drive back which made the time fly by. Probably the best tour guide we have had in any country we have used Viator in.

This tour was the perfect mix of the Blue Mountains. Craig was a great guide and communication pretour was perfect. Pickup was on time. I enjoyed the Featherdale Wildlife park. We arrived before the big buses and I felt like we had plenty of time to see everything. The walk to Wentworth Falls was awesome. We were given a choice on the way back(one way was easier than the other). The weather was perfect while we were at Echo point.. and the views did not disappoint.

Sights were amazing, and seeing animals at wildlife park was fun. Lunch stop was charming. Mark our guide/driver was fantastic guiding us along the day and a fountainof information; he made it fun and was personable. Well managed time, we spent the perfect amount at each stop. Must do tour!

I chose this tour with Sydney Adventure Tours on the recommendation by my sister Ann who had come last year and also the reviews. Our guide Mark was fun to be with, knowledgeable, entertaining, observant and caring for our safety. Our group totalled 5 and we all got along well. Our stops were great, his recommendations for restaurants were really good and his timing at each spot was great. We were very lucky weather wise as we were supposed to have rain but it held off until the very end of the day. On the way back to Sidney Mark played us music composed, written and sung by Australian singers and musicians. A lot of fun to hear them and learning about the artists. Robert and I highly recommend this tour and ask for Mark!

Even thought we had a drizzly day, we were able to hike and visit all of the sights. Mark was our tour guide and he was excellent - very knowledgeable and very entertaining! It was a great day & I would highly recommend!
