• Vous rencontrerez votre guide personnel à un point de rendez-vous reçu lors de la réservation • L'excursion commence de 7h30 à 8h00 - Retour à Paris vers 17h00. Durée : environ 8 heures • Train panoramique de Paris à Rouen en Normandie. • A Rouen, vous découvrirez le centre-ville historique et pittoresque avec son architecture médiévale. • Vous admirerez la plus haute cathédrale gothique de France, Notre-Dame de Rouen, peinte de manière récurrente par l'impressionniste Claude Monet. • Vous verrez le lieu où Jeanne d'Arc a été exécutée, brûlée sur le bûcher. • Vous admirerez et découvrirez la tour de l'horloge de la ville de Rouen, richement ouvragée, l'une des plus anciennes de France. • Vous découvrirez de nombreux autres véritables joyaux cachés sur votre itinéraire de visite, comme un ancien cimetière médiéval (très fréquenté pendant la peste noire). • Des vues spectaculaires le long du chemin • Possibilité de manger dans l'un des nombreux hébergements pour le déjeuner de la ville (non inclus) • Votre visite se terminera joyeusement à notre retour à Paris
En tant que plus haute cathédrale de France, Notre-Dame de Rouen a été peinte à plusieurs reprises par le peintre impressionniste Claude Monet qui aimait recréer les variations de la lumière du soleil tout au long de la journée. A l'intérieur de l'église se cachent de nombreux trésors, parmi lesquels l'effigie funéraire du duc de Normandie et roi d'Angleterre Richard Cœur de Lion, et d'autres personnages médiévaux puissants de Normandie et de France.
Beffroi emblématique avec son horloge délicatement travaillée. Alors que nous l'admirerons depuis la rue piétonne animée qui passe sous le beffroi, il sera possible moyennant un supplément de visiter l'intérieur et de monter les escaliers pour une vue spectaculaire sur Rouen !
Un ancien cimetière de style médiéval, récemment transformé en centre culturel avec un café et une galerie d'art. Assez étrange!
Une église moderne aux magnifiques vitraux du XVIe siècle, à côté du dernier souffle de Jeanne d'Arc, construite en l'honneur de son martyre.
À travers les rues pittoresques d'aspect médiéval, il y a ce magnifique bâtiment, symbole de l'architecture de la Renaissance.
Site historique de l'exécution de Jeanne d'Arc. Toute la ville de Rouen est vivement imprégnée du martyre et du dernier souffle de cette icône nationale.
L'Historial Jeanne d'Arc n'est pas un musée traditionnel avec des œuvres classiques accrochées aux murs. Il s'agit plutôt d'un spectacle immersif reconstituant la saga de notre héroïne et procès posthume pour réhabilitation en 1456 où des témoins de cette époque vous guideront de pièce en pièce vous assurant une expérience inoubliable.

The experience with Milan was amazing , we had a glitchy start but that was an error on my part, but he was still accomodating and despite our late arrival, once onboard the train to Rouen. The scenery was changing and beautiful, once at Rouen, walking the through the streets and having Milan tell us about the history and show us the steps towards Joan of Arcs life and end of life, was an experience . Our 13 year old loved the day and was made special with Milan’s knowledge and passion . Milan treated us like friends visiting his country! We had an amazing experience thanks to him. He guided us perfectly to where we needed to go, gave us great information and history about each location. We would not have known how to make our way around these cities without him! Giverney was my favorite, Monet’s house truly stunning and following St. Joan of Arc’s footsteps were incredible. We had the most spectacular day with With Love From Paris. We did the Rouen Day trip with Joan of Arc highlights. It was the best tour of our trip. Milan was a fantastic guide. This was without a doubt the best tour I have ever been on (and I’ve been on a few) while the tour itself was amazing, what made it far beyond anything I’ve experienced so far was our guide, Milan. Hands down Milan is a true professional and created a magical day that we will never forget. From the communication prior to the tour, to the little touches along the way Milan made this day for us smooth, educational, wonderful and memorable. We were met by Milan exactly where directed, and smoothly boarded our train, Milan providing many points of interest along the way. My partner and I travelled with two young children and Milan made sure that they were entertained the whole journey and even surprised us all by buying them a bag of chocolates from one of the stores in Rouen. We chose this tour to see Rouen and learn about Joan of Arc. We were not disappointed, this was a terrific insight into all things Joan of Arc and I for one learned a lot more than I knew prior. But it didn’t stop there, the history of Paris, France, Rouen, and many more were all passed to us by Milan throughout the day. His knowledge and passion for his country and its history was astounding. We will definitely travel back to France in the future and would not hesitate to take another tour with Milan, a wonderful guide and true professional. At the conclusion of our journey Milan escorted us to the nearest taxi making sure we were safely in the car and informed our driver of or hotel. There was not a single thing for us to worry about the entire day. Absolutely fabulous!!

We had a wonderful day touring Rouen with Milan . Milan gave us a historic and current perspective of all we saw. His sense of humor and ease of conversation was relaxing. From the time we sat on the Train until we sadly said Au Revoir the day was exceptional. The sites and the food will not be forgotten.
