Par temps clair, le spectacle s'étend encore plus loin, vous permettant d'apercevoir au loin l'imposant volcan Fuego, le volcan Acatenango et le volcan Agua, situés près d'Antigua Guatemala. Nous nous retrouverons dans la charmante ville de San Pedro, un endroit dynamique avec tout ce dont vous avez besoin. Es-tu arrivé la veille ? Profitez de ses hôtels chaleureux, de ses délicieux restaurants et de ses charmants cafés. Une fois le groupe prêt, nous monterons à bord de notre bus ou de notre voiture et nous dirigerons vers le début du sentier. Préparez-vous à explorer !
Notre visite continue vers San Juan, officiellement désigné « Pueblo Mágico » grâce à sa beauté unique et sa culture dynamique. Célèbre pour ses rues colorées et ses peintures murales artistiques, cette ville touristique offre tous les services : hébergement, restaurants, cafés, bars et agences de voyages. Le transport est assuré par notre bus désigné.
L'ascension vers le sommet : une récompense spectaculaire. Notre bus nous emmènera dans la ville pittoresque et unique de Santa Clara, un trésor caché au pied de l'imposante formation rocheuse connue sous le nom de « La Tête Maya » ou, pour les touristes, « Le Nez de l'Indien ». À partir de ce point, nous commencerons la partie la plus difficile et la plus enrichissante de notre aventure : une randonnée en montée de 45 minutes. Bien que la distance soit courte, le terrain est considéré comme difficile, une bonne condition physique est donc requise. L'effort en vaudra la peine lorsque vous atteindrez le sommet, situé à 2 260 mètres d'altitude. De ce point de vue naturel, vous serez récompensé par l'une des vues les plus belles et panoramiques imaginables, un moment parfait pour capturer des photographies inoubliables et vous connecter avec la nature dans son état le plus pur.
Après 35 minutes de trajet en bus et 45 minutes de randonnée exigeante mais enrichissante, nous atteindrons le but de notre aventure : le plus haut sommet de la montagne, connu sous le nom de « Le Nez ». Ici, sur le toit de la région, nous assisterons à un spectacle naturel incomparable : la magie du lever du soleil. Nous regarderons le soleil se lever lentement à l'horizon, peignant le ciel de nuances d'or et d'orange qui se reflètent dans les eaux du majestueux lac Atitlán. Nous profiterons de ce paradis pendant 70 minutes, temps dont nous profiterons pour : Découvrez les villages pittoresques qui entourent le lac. Découvrez l’histoire fascinante et les mythes entourant ce lac sacré. Identifiez les imposants volcans d'Atitlán et, par temps clair, repérez même les volcans qui gardent Antigua Guatemala au loin. Ce moment de connexion avec la nature et la culture vu d'en haut sera sans aucun doute le souvenir le plus durable de votre voyage.

Si vous êtes dans d'autres communes comme San Juan La Laguna ou San Maros La Laguna, nous pouvons venir vous chercher au rendez-vous. ou au centre de chaque ville et nous pourrions également venir vous chercher, vous et votre accompagnateur, s'il y a un accès en véhicule à votre hôtel. Dans les endroits suivants, nous récupérons uniquement moyennant des frais supplémentaires en bateau privé : Panajachel, Santa Cuz, Jaibalito, Santa Catarina, San Antonio, San Lucas, Santiago Atitlán.

Absolutely horrible. I was with my kids and we were joined by 3 other members. While on the beginning I fell down the side of the mountain and sprained my ankle. One of the other female members began making fun of me and my daughter heard her. Then the owner of the tour denied my refund stating I was already injured and took the risk meanwhile I was not injured. So now I paid $129 to be injured not complete the tour and me made fun of. If I could I would rate this 0 stars
Hello! We are very sorry about what happened, but one of your children mentioned to our guide and other travelers that you were already injured even before attempting the hike. It is unfortunate that you tried to place the blame entirely on us, given that we had arranged exclusive private transportation for you and your children; our bus took your family to the San Juan dock just 15 minutes after the hike began, because you decided not to continue—claiming, in order to justify your decision, that you had been injured after walking for only 10 minutes. We incur costs for guides and transportation regardless of the outcome, which is why we were unable to issue a refund; furthermore, in all the years we have been running this hike, no one has ever been injured—certainly not within the first 10 minutes. We are very sorry and hope you recover soon; we will take your feedback into account to improve our tours.
The tour was well organized and we were able to book the private boat from Santa Cruz which made an early morning more seamless - one of our favorite activities from our visit to Lake Atitlan!

Loved the experience from start to finish. It was great to have a guide organize the transport to the hike spot and then accompany us. It would be impossible to do on our own. The best part was the hot chocolate at the top with the sunrise!

I booked this trip with my son while visiting Guatemala. We were picked up on time and transported to the starting point of the hike, which all went smoothly. However, once the hike began, the pace was extremely fast. The conditions were challenging — very humid, hot, and with thinner air at altitude. The group was made up of people in their early 20s, apart from me. While I’m a fit, active and well-travelled 60-year-old, it wasn’t realistic to think I could keep up with the pace being set. I was only falling behind by a few minutes, yet the group moved on ahead both on the ascent and the descent, which made the experience feel stressful rather than enjoyable. At one point the guide asked if I was “ok” in a way that felt more alarmed than supportive, as though he thought I was about to collapse, rather than recognising that someone 40 years older than the rest of the group may naturally need slightly more time. The scenery and overall concept of the trip were excellent, but the experience felt rushed, pressurised and uncomfortable. I would strongly recommend this tour only to younger travellers or very fast hikers, unless the company is willing to adapt the pace more appropriately for mixed-age groups.

Great experience!! The driver picked us up on the doorstep of our hotel at 3:50am. After picking up other travelers along the way we parked at the bottom of the climb and started our trek in the dark (make sure to bring a headlamp or a flashlight as this tour didn't provide any!). It was about a 45min climb up a well maintained path. It gets steep at parts but nothing too bad overall. The guide didn't talk a whole lot but he was kind and did his best to answer specific questions. The view at the top was breathtaking. Enjoy the included coffee and hot chocolate and watch the sun rise above the horizon and light up the lake, hills, and towns below.

Nice early start to get there before the crowds, steep ascent to the top, but Jeffrey our guide asked us regularly if we wanted to rest. When we got to the top we were offered Coffee and bread, which was welcomed by us all. Then the main act to watch a beautiful sunrise over Lake Atitilan - unbelievable views and loads of snaps to be had. A fantastic experience for us alll!!! Oh and we saw two volcanoes erupting with small plumes of smoke!!!!

Our guide was communicative and went at our pace. We needed to take many breaks but he was helpful and had no issues with it! The company itself was difficult to reach to confirm pickup location and time but after contacting Viator support they reached out immediately. Overall it was good and I’d book again.
