A really beautiful and interesting hike/climb👍Thomas clearly has a lot of experience and a heart that beats for this type of stuff. His english is great; so is his knowledge. Compared to the cable car ticket especially this was a win win for me and the guide. Put on some decent shoes, sunscreen and bugspray and enjoy:)
My guide Thomas is one of the best. He's passionate of hiking and climbing. He's veri experienced and patiently guiding me through every step. It's my first time outdoor climbing. Despite having some indoor climbing experiences, this was not that easy. However he has helped me complete the entire trail. The breathtaking view is so worth it! Last but not least, he's also a great photographer!! I acknowledge that this experience is most likely dependent on who's the guide that day, but I'm very lucky to have Thomas!
It was a spontaneous booking as the lower sugar loaf hike was a bit too simple for us. It was the best decision ever as not just our tour guide Raffael made this tour incredible! The nature was amazing and also the climbing part was incredible! Not just physically but also mentally and his hike brought me and my friend to another level! Highly recommend doing it - 10/10 experience!!
This was a terrific tour and a wonderful way to experience Sugarloaf that included adventure scenery and wildlife. It was a challenge as I have not climbed before, but I never felt unsafe. We saw monkeys vultures and much birdlife. My guide was very informed and shared with me an enormous amount about Rio as we climbed. I highly recommend this Tour.
Easily one of the best highlights of our Rio trip - what a great experience! Our instructor Denis was absolutely amazing, he guided us through challenging parts and made us feel very comfortable with the climb. This is such a unique way to experience sugarloaf mountain and I could not recommend it enough.
This was so epic and rewarding! Our guide Sergio was such a cool dude and very knowledgeable about local history and has lots of experience climbing and hiking. It was a first for us but he made us feel safe and at ease and we just had a blast. Highly recommend!

Such a beautiful climb. It will take your breath away. The guide is very friendly. And you get to ride one of the tram things back down.
One of my favourite things I did in rio! You get to experience the rock climbing and the cable on the way down so it’s the best of both worlds. Rafael was so nice and I felt very safe through the whole thing. Highly recommend for anyone visiting!
The view while climbing is incredible. There are several parts with different points of view, and in the end the reward of reaching the top of Sugarloaf Mountain is sensational.
