Stonehenge, Avebury et sites sacrés – Excursion privée d’une journée

Seb gave us in-depth historical information on every place we went on our tour. He had knowledge I would not have expected (why there are not many trees in the area), and was honest the few times he did not have an answer. We learned much more about Stonehenge than we expected, and I so appreciated Seb’s enthusiasm for the history of the area. Loved walking around the Avebury Circle; with Seb’s help, we were able to understand what it would have looked like thousands of years ago. Seb pointed out many other unique views on our trip: a chalk horse, Old Sarum, and even where Sting lives! He took us to a great farm restaurant in the middle of nowhere. Our last stop was the Salisbury Cathedral. Seb was not able to accompany us into the church, but he had already given us plenty of information about its history. We wanted to do an individual tour so that we could learn more about all these sites, and Seb truly delivered! I’d highly recommend his tours.

As Belgians and Luxembourgers, we realized that we know our British neighbors' history very, very poorly! Thanks to you, we discovered a rich part of it, all the more so because we understood your English perfectly well, perhaps because, being of Italian origin, you make it a point to speak it calmly and without an accent that is too pronounced like the local guides. We hope that we will be able to benefit from your extensive knowledge again during our return to Southampton in September 2027!

We had a fabulous day tour with Seb! He was so very knowledgeable and made the day interesting and fun. We loved all of the places we went to especially Stonehenge. We bought our tickets ahead of time on line for Stonehenge. Seb told us what time to buy them for and it worked out perfectly. We didn’t have to wait in the long line that was there and beat a lot of the crowd that was still coming. We enjoyed the place he took us to for lunch that was local and authentic. We never felt like we had to hurry anywhere as Seb was easy going but very organized and we could tell that he loves his job. An informative and detailed tour of Stonehenge, Woodhouse, Avebury Stone circle and other points of interest in Wiltshire, Salisbury area, including driving past Britain's extensive military bases in Wiltshire. Sebastiano was a pleasant, knowledgeable and well researched guide who was flexible and willing to assist in any way possible.

Really excellent experience with Seb. He communicated well with us multiple times before the day of our tour and picked us up at hour hotel. He was extremely passionate and engaged and super knowledgeable. We really enjoyed spending the day with Seb and highly recommend his tour.

Our tour guide was fabulous ! Very knowledgeable. I doubt we scratched the surface of his knowledge. His tour was very educational and interesting, far beyond what I was expecting. He took us to an amazing restaurant in a beautiful village with a lot of history and several movie locations. I highly recommend this very enjoyable day trip.

Sebastiano is very knowledgeable and I had a great time doing the excursion. I would do another excursion with him if I was in the area.
