A great boat trip around the islands of Stockholm. Boat has a bar on board with tea, coffee and snacks. Coffee can be re-filled! Matilda our guide was great with her humorous stories, keeping us all entertained. A great way to spend an afternoon in Stockholm. Recommended.
I just took the Archipelago Summer ride, William sold the tickets and Ellen was our tour guide. Fantastic trip, lots of fun and nice commentary from Ellen. I highly recommend.
Matilda was lovely and very knowledgeable and all the crew made us feel welcome. Wear a jumper and take a coat even in summer!
Our guide and captain (Sarah & Bjorn) were top notch. Having been to Stockholm before, we were looking for a new experience. This was a great chance to see familiar landmarks from a different perspective as well as see areas that were all new to us. We definitely recommend this tour!
This tour was an amazing way to relax while also learning about the city. The tour guide Daria was very friendly and great at engaging the tourists with fun facts as well as in depth history of the city. There were friendly staff on board with a fully stacked bar and bathrooms. Indoor seating also made it possible to take the tour on days with poor weather.
Great boat, good refreshments and bar, and a wonderful guide, who knew when to speak and use her vast local knowledge, and when to be quiet to allow the beautiful Baltic archipelago speak for itself. We did a 5pm sail, so it was great to see the sun westering and the light change (it was early to mid July, so the sun didn't actually set until well after 10pm.) The only drawback was a group of inconsiderately loud tourists who sat near the guide and rudely tried to speak among themselves over her mic. Of course, there was nothing anyone could do about that, but there were plenty of seats elsewhere on the vessel that they could have chosen if they wanted to talk and be loud. We ended up changing seats, but could thankfully still hear the guide.
Explanations only in English, sufficient seating, refreshments available, friendly staff
It was a nice relaxing tour. Our guide was personable and knowledgeable. The sound system could be improved.

Matilda was a great tour guide! We learned so much about Stockholm’s history , pop culture, and current traditions. It gets a little chilly, but blankets are provided. The prices at the bar were also very good value; we got a herring sampler plate, and it was very yummy.
Thanks for your review! So glad to hear that you enjoyed your time on board with Matilda & enjoyed the herring taster! Tack!
I booked the trip through Tripadvisor. The price was around $40 per person, and the trip itself lasted about three hours. It involved a cruise along the city's largest navigable canal; I believe we traveled about 30 km out from the center. We had an excellent guide, Elin, who shared fascinating details about the history of the city and the country, as well as insights into modern Swedish life. The boat was relatively large, featuring both open and enclosed decks, and included a small bar serving coffee, beer, and the like—so the trip is enjoyable even if it rains.
Thanks for your review! So glad to hear that you enjoyed your time on board with Elin! Tack!
