Aventure Safari d'observation des étoiles en Jeep avec dîner bédouin-Hurghada

Me and my wife was so excited to go on this excursion, but it turned out to be a total waste of money, we booked the full package which included quad biking across the desert. We got picked up from our hotel and taken to the meeting point, where other people we're waiting for us to join. On arrival, I spoke to the guide about what was on the agenda, but he didn't say anything about the use of the quad bikes. After asking, he said that there was no quads on his excursion, just a ride to a Bedouin village, apparently a authentic dinner and then stargazing. Whilst I was filling out the forms, my wife noticed the pickup driver and 2 other people take black bags out of the boot of the car and slide them under the seats of the 'so called' jeeps, which was a Toyota hilux with wooden seats in the back. The journey was horrendous, my bum and back took a beating. My wife was able to sit in the cab due to her disabilities, which was probably the best part of it all. When we finally got to the village, it was a couple of huts with 2 women and a young lad, and all of us noticed the driver, guide and photographer, unload the black bags and take them towards the cooking area, which we all agreed that it was a bit dubious. After having a drink of water, we were taken to the mountains to watch the sunset and was told the photographer would come along to take some photos. After quite a while waiting, I decided to take some pics on my phone, and me and my wife headed back down to the gathering point. The photographer finally come along and took some random pics of us both. We were then ushered to a tent to have the meal, which we all agreed was from the black bags and there was nothing authentic about it. My wife could have done better on a bbq. We were then taken to do some stargazing, looking through a telescope at 2 planets, which basically looked like irises and then the moon. After which came a VERY long talk about the stars and constellations, which my 12 year old granddaughter could have done. Then finally back to the hotel, when climbing out the back of the 'jeep' I cracked my head on the top lock and cut my head open. I wouldn't recommend this excursion to anyone, like I said before, it was a waste of money!!!

Expectations were exceeded. Very well organized, tour guide, driver, local Bedouin, traveling with, photographer very nice, pleasant people. We are very excited about the pictures we were offered for 10 euros. An elderly man from Bedouin village showed me a baby goat ❤️ I absolutely enjoyed the tour. It was like you know from the TV reports. Food was also very good. I'm very pleased. There was also a full moon. A thank you to all of you.

We had an amazing time on the Star Watching Desert Adventure by Jeep & Dinner! The jeep ride through the desert was thrilling, and the sunset over the sand dunes was absolutely breathtaking. Our guide was very knowledgeable, explaining everything about the Bedouin lifestyle and the night sky. Dinner was delicious and freshly prepared in a cozy Bedouin camp, followed by an unforgettable stargazing experience — the sky was so clear we could see countless stars! Everything was perfectly organized by FTS Travels, from pickup to drop-off. Highly recommended for anyone visiting Hurghada who wants to experience the magic of the desert at night!

The trip was a solid good trip where the price-performance ratio fits. The drive through the desert was a lot of fun, but it is already very swinging. Some time passes before the first drink (+transfer to the meeting point depending on the hotel), taking some water makes perfect sense. The Bedouin village is simple, the sanitary facilities (with two eyes closed) justifiable. Non-alcoholic drinks (except water, which is free) are available on site for 3 euros. The food is simple, as described, but good. We were there for the full moon, i.e. we could not see the Milky Way unfortunately, it was too bright for that. But we saw Saturn through the telescope. Our guide Mohamed Arabi (German speaking) was very friendly, helpful and explained everything well. We got a lot of information about the stars. Overall a good trip for this price.

The scenery was great, in general I would recommend as an experience. Our experience was ruined because while the appointment at the hotel was at 16:30, the driver arrived at 17:20. Because of that we missed the sunset. The package included also a camel ride, which was not offered, probably because of the late arrival. The food offered and the location were spectacular. The stargazing experience was fine, we could see the moon and Saturn with the telescope. The guide could not complete the explanation of the stars because the laser pointer didn’t work. Finally there was a request for additional payments for the hotel pickup at El Gouna which was not mentioned when booking by

The pickup was on time, Ash was very nice and perfect with english so we understood everything. We could have asked him anything without hesitation. We really had nice time with Ash, we would recommend him to everyone. Duration of the trip was perfect, not short but not too long also. Atmosphere was really great.
