And Sameer, our backup vehicle driver and constant support system, was always there whenever we needed help. The whole tour felt like a family going on a vacation! I took part in cycling activities from Kashmir to Leiden because I usually did not finish only half of the ride, but thanks to MTB Kashmir, it was a very relaxing/comfortable/flexible journey!

I joined the MTB Kashmir trip and it was an amazing experience! On the first day, we visited the beautiful Pari Mahal and stayed in a lovely houseboat on Dal Lake — such a peaceful and unique experience. The next day, we drove slowly toward Kargil, enjoying breathtaking scenery along the way and even got the chance to go horseback riding. For the last three days, we cycled from Kargil to Leh, surrounded by stunning mountain views the whole time. The route was challenging but incredibly rewarding. Everything was well organized, and the guides were friendly and supportive. Highly recommended for anyone who loves adventure and nature!

I was absolutely thrilled to join the MTB Kashmir trip! Our adventure began wonderfully on Day 1 with a visit to Pari Mahal, where the lake sightseeing offered truly beautiful views. We then checked into a charming houseboat on Dal Lake. Day 2 was an excellent journey from Srinagar to Dras, where we had a very comfortable and scenic horseback riding experience. The next three days were the core of the trip: an incredible cycling journey from Dras to Leh. As a complete beginner to cycling, I was initially worried the trip would be too challenging, but the MTB Kashmir team provided outstanding support and ensured our safety throughout the entire ride. Their entire crew was consistently energetic and great fun to be around. Highly, highly recommend this experience!

At first, I planned to hike the Great Lakes of Kashmir, but they were closed this year. Luckily, I came across this cycling trip from Srinagar to Leh organized by MTB Kashmir. The information on their official website was very detailed, and their responses during the inquiry process were always quick and helpful. Since we arrived at the end of September when no regular group tours were available, we arranged a customized private tour. Some of us had very little cycling experience and were quite worried about the difficulty, but MTB Kashmir provided exceptional support—far beyond what you’d expect from just a support car. During the last three days of the trip, the owner, Sheen, even joined us on the ride, giving rides in the car to those who couldn’t continue. The journey was about so much more than cycling—it was a deep experience of local life. We passed apple orchards and were invited to pick apples, dropped by a wedding celebration, and even visited a school along the way. My guide, Adnan, was truly the hero of this trip. Thanks to him, I successfully cycled all the way from Srinagar to Leh. As they told us on the first day: “Enjoy the journey, don’t just aim to finish it.” Still, I’m really glad I made it to the end. It was a beautiful, unforgettable, and challenging adventure—absolutely worth doing once in a lifetime. Truly amazing.

Ride was well planned and executed the safety of riders were kept in mind. Cycles provided was new and in good condition.

Srinagar to Leh cycling expedition by MTB Kashmir was a very well planned cycling tour. Not only was it a very thrilling, fun filled cycling tour with beautiful and scenic route but the whole route was very safe to ride. The support of the whole crew was great and they took great care of us and at no point we felt abondoned . There were 2 support vehicles with us all the time, though the number of riders in our group were not more than 7 . Most of us took rental bikes which were in very good conditions. They all were new bikes as promised and all possible customisation was done as per the rider. There was a professional rider riding with us all the time especially to support and encourage the slow rider. Mechanical support was also very good All the arrangements of accommodations and food were good and as promised and the charges for whole expedition were quite reasonable. I highly recommend MTB Kashmir if you are planning to take this tour because they provide the best support and planning . Their team members were very polite and helpful. They made the whole trip so memorable for us by capturing each and every moment in a special way for all the riders. During these 6 days we felt like a family.

Srinagar to leh cycling expedition was in my bucket list for a long time. The MTB Kashmir team made my dream come true. 1. They had planned it well. Only the last day was too long and hard but then I think there was no way out . Or maybe it could be divided into two days...this can be discussed with the participants. 2. The team provided excellent support. My chain broke on one climb, and the team made it right immediately. Moreover we had a spare bike with us. There was always one rider of the MTB Kashmir team to ride along with the slowest participant . We had two support vehicles with us so at no point anyone felt alone or abandoned. 3. Whenever anyone felt unable to ride there was always a provision for him/her to sit in the vehicle for some distance, till that person regained the strength to continue again. 4. We were provided breakfast and dinner, which were according to our choice and the best possible at that place , because few times there were villages or small towns on the way. 5. Accommodation: except of Khangral all the stays were good enough. Khangral is a very small village and there was no other option there. Especially the last stay at Leh was excellent. About Khandral ......this again can be discussed amongst the participants and the MTB team so that the distance covered each day should be divided so that one need not stay at Khangral....if possible . 6. The amount charged from us was reasonable, in my opinion. 7. All the team members were always willing to help us in any problem, they were always very polite and courteous....I am extremely happy with them and I will give them 10/10 for their behaviour. 8. We were given the option to rent a bike or bring our own. Almost all of us rented, these were MTBs , all in perfect condition. The only hastle for someone maybe that Roadies are easier to ride on climbs. So one has to decide for oneself. So I would highly recommend anyone who wishes to do a similar cycling expedition , to consider the MTB Kashmir team.
