The guide didnt speak English very well, and spoke very little on the trip, but did the job though. Canoe was really low down, we had someone older in our group, so was a bit of an issue to get in and out of the canoe. Also travelled with kids, the ride to return us to the hotel was more than 50 mins late, leaving the kids and everyone to the mercy of the mosquitoes, heat and bugs.
Incredible views of sunrise on Lake Yacumama, with hundreds of parrots and other birds flying around. Piranhas are harder to catch than you think, but several people in our group still caught one.
A must experience if you're in Puerto Maldonado. Jean Pierre was really good. I asked for 4.30am pick up, as a solo guest he picked me up at my hostel by motorbike. Take a jacket for the bike, sun hat and insect spray. The lake is full of piranhas, some caimans and lots of birds.
Wonderful excursion to Lake Yacumama. We managed to catch piranhas and spot caimans. It was very impressive to see the sunset over the lake! Thanks to our guide Darwin!!👏
Friendly and friendly treatment. It lasted about 2:30 hours. The guide was very supportive and gave us time to take pictures. The experience was beautiful. When I returned he left me at the lodging. Highly recommended.
Piranha fishing was fantastic, we arrived at the lake in time for sunrise and saw all the Macaws leaving the palm trees, saw kingfishers, a big cayman and lots of other birds too! Fishing was basic and very fun! I also did Sandoval tour which was great and we saw tarantulas! Sunset cruise was lovely and relaxing.

Excellent unique tour. Great knowledgeable guide. Spectacular location with Soo many birds and many caiman. Being there in the evening was really nice. The two of us caught one piranha combined, but it was fun to try. I was more impressed just by paddling around marveling at the palms and birds.
