Very pleasant and fun experience! The guide was excellent, spoke english well and had a lot to say about the history och the winery as well as Bulgaria. We got to taste a variety of wines which all had their different properties and occasions, paired with small Bulgarian treats, as explained by the guide. They took good care of us and made sure we had a good time, would definitely recommend if you are in the sunny beach/Nessebar area! We got there by booking our own cab since the winery didn’t have their own transport. However, they were still helpful with making sure we had a transport back to our hotell. The experience itself was very cheap, considering we got to taste 6 different wines, but you have to take the transportation price into consideration since this wont be included in the booking.

This was a great afternoon, the history, the process and the hosts were amazing. The best wine tasting experience we have had, thank you to the hosts for explaining the wine making and tips about storage and aging of the wines. These were the most delicious wines I have came across, much better than the usual supermarket brands we have in the UK. So much so, we bought a nice amount for selves and friends. Sorry about the ignorant other attendees who talked throughout your presentation, we enjoyed it. Thank you again!

Brilliant tour, well worth going, the views alone make it worthwhile. Our guide and winery owner was very interesting, we got to hear the history of the area and the winery, the lavender was gorgeous, the wine vats, the equipment used to distill etc, and then the tasting, this was wonderful.

This part of a visit to Old Nessebar and Wine tasting tour, which I'm very pleased to have experienced. When our tour bus arrived at the DiVes estate we were welcomed by the owner Mr. DiVes (sorry I've forgotten his first name) We were treated to a historical insight into the surrounding area and the specific grape varieties grown as well as lavender. We were then led around the outside of the winery given explanations of the process of wine making from harvest to brewing. When we gathered indoors we were sat at tables with 4 different wines in front of us, there was also some food tasting. Using a screen and video, the later processes of wine making were explored (we obviously can't enter the wine processing area due to health and safety) and the wine tasting had begun. We were shown how to correctly hold a glass, how to smell the wine, look for the colour variations and then taste first on it own and then with food, a slice of brown bread cut into 9 squares each with a piece of fish, sun dried tomato and cheese, unfortunately the bread overpowered the food it was holding. There was also a piece of chocolate cake for the sweet wine, which was perfect for that experiment. It was explained why white and rose wines have screw caps and reds have corks, also how long they will keep when bottled, unfortunately our bus load decided to chat louder as the tasting went on which made listening to Mr DiVes more difficult. Then it was off to the shop to buy some wine to take home. I thoroughly enjoyed my wine tasting experience and I would recommend it even if you don't drink wine, learning the way wine is produced is a great experience. It was also great that the owners took care of us and not an employee which showed me that this particular winery is not just a business. I

I really enjoyed the visit to DiVes Winery! Vasilena was very welcoming and the wine tasting was excellent. We were lucky enough to arrive on the first day of harvest and got to see some of the machines in action. And we got to try fresh, unfiltered grape juice from the first press, which was an added bonus. Overall a very interesting and informative tour and good value for the money. I highly recommend taking home some DiVes wine, especially the rosé!

A wonderful experience. We were only two people and still received an excellent tour, with the history of the vineyard’s location and plenty of information about the different wines we tasted. Our host was very friendly. A fantastic experience overall. Great wines, and you can buy them afterwards at the vineyard’s shop (at very reasonable prices). Highly recommended!

A tour of the wine production and a story about the history of the area! It all took about 2.5 hours. It was the owner of the vineyard himself, who made the tour, and there was only me and my partner (only 2pcs) on it, who made it itim. We got after the tour of the place, try a total of 6 different wines to different finger food. All the wines were very good, and it is understandable why they have won awards! After this, you can buy wine at your own point of sale. All in all a pleasant tour in nice surroundings, which is definitely worth the price! It is probably best to be here in June, due to the flowering in the area, but it was also nice in August!

The wine tasting was very varied and top! But if you come for the history tour and the tour of the wine estate then you should not imagine too much.

I had the pleasure of attending a wine tasting at Dives Winery yesterday – and I am absolutely thrilled. The whole experience was not only extremely informative, but also very tastefully designed. The wines convinced with their excellent quality and fine nuances, which appeal to both connoisseurs and connoisseurs. I would particularly like to highlight the lady who led the tour: with her pleasant manner, deep expertise and authentic enthusiasm she made the tour very special. A completely successful experience – absolutely recommended for those who love wine and want to learn more about the history and production.
