This was my first excursion in my 11 day Colombia trip and it was the perfect thing to start with. I loved the nature, the river, and the opportunity to learn more about Colombian culture. All of the logistics were handled for me, with pickup, dropoff, and lunch. I also speak only English and they accommodated that as well by providing an English speaking guide, Sarah. Sarah was the best host. She made sure that I knew what was going on, safe, and explained and translated things to me throughout the whole day. This was a great experience. Highly reccomend.
The forest was really lovely, and it was nice getting to see and explore the river with the local guide. However, a few things were not quite as described in the activity description: first, there was no "jacuzzis" or "natural hot springs" - only the river, which while refreshing, was quite cold! Second, we did not ever experience the "art therapy" aspect as advertised. Third, the communication was a bit difficult. I speak Spanish and was fine, however my mother only speaks English and she struggled to understand what was going on. I think this is a lovely idea but the advertising of the experience needs to be changed, and we ended up paying far more than I think this experience was worth! Book directly with the Bosque El Descanso for more reasonable pricing and less disappointment.

It was a wonderful experience, I enjoyed everything in this place so peaceful so beautiful, my guide Juan Camilo has a lot of knowledge of the nature, the service was great, delicious food. The river is clean and beautiful.

It’s a wonderfu experience! I traveled solo to Cali and I want to spent some time in the nature.And I’m glad that I found this one.During the hiking and river trekking,they took care good care of me.Make sure that I won’t fall and always hold my hand when it’s difficult.So I felt safe and enjoy my first river trekking.Later,I have a wonderful message in the cave,like I own my little secret place for myself.Thank you for this great experience,I hope I can come back soon.😊

A super relaxing place and the spa I loved!!! is tucked into nature. They gave me a massage that I fell asleep, plus the cooing of the river.
