The bus was on time, the driver made sure all who were supposed to be on the bus were accounted for. The Hvammsvik hot springs were enjoyable and relaxing.

We went on a 3 day bus tour of the South Coast and the Golden Circle. Our local tour guide was very knowledgeable about geography and volcanoes. Our last part was visiting the hot springs at Hvammarvik- a gorgeous location on a lake and not crowded! I would go back again and spend more time touring around.

Absolutely loved this experience. We were so lucky that the day was beautiful. The sun shone and it was warm. This trip was with the wonderful Elly as our driver and guide. She was so friendly and knowledgeable about Iceland. The spa itself was very understated and gorgeous. It merged into the landscape and was unobtrusive and felt so natural. Met some lovely people from all over the world but it didn’t feel busy at all. I actually did manage a quick dip in the ocean which was a super experience too. Very clean and well operated. A beautiful coffee afterwards too. Thank you Elly and the lovely staff at the hot springs 🙏🏻🙏🏻

This is a truly magical place that must be experienced. Much different vibe than the Blue Lagoon. The setting was just absolutely stunning. The tour was a great way of getting there. Pickup is at the bust terminal which is close to all and drop off was at whatever bus stop you wanted so that was very convenient to pick one close to your destination. Food and drink are available for purchase at the hot springs (there is a walk up bar to get drinks). You need to bring a towel and water shoes/flip flops to walk on the beach and between the springs. The locker room was beautiful and the lockers were big enough to fit a backpack and clothes. There is a separate spot for shoes right when you walk into the locker room. The showers were private and warm. This place was the highlight of our trip and this tour made it easy!

This place is otherworldly and so beautiful! Very elegant and simple changing rooms and restaurant, and the natural beauty surrounding you as you soak is just incredible. Had a wonderful time, and not having to get myself there and back from Reykjavík was very nice - the transfer was super reliable and comfortable, and it gave us plenty of time there.

We did the hot springs shuttle experience and Tommy was so wonderful! Everything went smooth and he was more than happy to tell us stories and answer questions on the drive. Great trip!

Great experience. Staff extremely helpful. Extremely relaxing and worked wonders for my eczema. Highly recommend this - it was me, my mum and sister, so a great chance to chill together. Not over crowded at all - clearly thought has been put into not making it a purely tourist attraction. The changing suits had everything which is included in the price - shampoo, conditioner, soap, hair dryers etc. and lockable lockers. Don’t forget shoes (flip flops / sliders) and if you want to take your phone you need something to make it waterproof like a pouch. Like everything in Iceland, the drinks are very expensive.

Did this tour during a week in March. The hot springs are relaxing, but except for being able to go into the ocean I didn't find the experience particularly unique/memorable. Given the day, I was also surprised how crowded the place was: there weren't as many people as at the Blue Lagoon, but due to the smaller pools it feels cramped a lot faster. Carlos was an excellent tour guide, providing the exact right balance of humour, fun facts and quiet moments.
