Fantastic tour! Highly recommend

This tour was fantastic! Our hosts were great, Vini was very knowledgeable about different highlights and the legends throughout the trip to Capri island. Was so impressed with the value for money. Great energy on board and overall great time!

Bad experience

The check in was chaotic which meant a delayed departure. The operator made an error with the boats so we needed to wait 30+ minutes on the water to make a passenger exchange. Two from our boat jumped on to another boat while our boat picked up 4 in exchange. A complete waste of time! The package included snorkelling and possible stop at the blue grotto. The captain decided blue grotto was out, due to other boats before us. There was no attempt to stop for snorkelling. Overall a complete misrepresentation of what the tour included and poor value for money

Great boat ride, terrible business practice and support staff

Our boat skipper, Max, was excellent and did a great job. Unfortunately, the experience was seriously let down by the support staff and the company’s business practices. The woman at the counter was extremely unhelpful and, in my opinion, not suited for a customer-facing role. Even more concerning, we were charged nearly €200 in additional fees for a group of four at check-in. These charges were not clearly communicated upfront and felt like hidden fees. The way these charges were presented was very disappointing and left us feeling that the pricing was intentionally unclear. The check-in process also needs significant improvement. We were left standing in nearly 100°F (38°C) heat for about 45 minutes after our scheduled tour time, with no shade and very little information about what was happening or when the tour would actually begin. The lack of communication made an already frustrating wait even worse. Max himself was great, but unfortunately, good service from the skipper could not make up for the poor customer support and lack of transparency. Based on our experience, I would avoid this company—not because of the tour itself, but because of the support staff, poor organization, and what felt like unethical and misleading fee practices.

For starters, the crew is top notch, Trained captain and the slightly younger fellow who was there very skilled and convivial people. The trip is really worth it, you pay a little more than, say, a ferry / ferry but it's worth it! Now some small remarks: The meeting place is on a corner in the building opposite the restaurant, a lot of chaos but doable. Just make sure you arrive half an hour in advance. On our ride there was a mistake. There were people on the wrong boat and they had to be mixed up with people from our boat in the middle of the sea without the boats touching of course. An hour or so and some chaos further we could continue our journey,... Again the crew is not to blame! They remained calm and professional. We didn't have to pay for that mistake either. If you want to see the blue cave, this isn't the tour for you. It's hell to queue for that. You could lose hours. That's no talk. If you come on site you see enough,... the green and white cave are absolutely worth it but you can't swim in it. But the swimming stops give you plenty of time to swim in the sea and enjoy the most beautiful views. Before you know it you are in Capri just for the sake of clarity the lunch is only “full included” if you take the sandwich, the pizza against it is NOT included as mentioned somewhere at the booking. They advise you to take the pizza in reality you have a reservation when you get off in Capri where they accompany you to your table and from there you are free on Capri that means you also pay for that food yourself. Now we do not complain because it was good food with a very nice view (slightly more expensive than Sorrento,Amalfi,Positano) If you like to visit Capri or anacapri which is advisable take the taxi as much as possible. 3.5 hours on Capri seems like a lot but due to the large number of tourists, time is the most crucial. You get once you are back on the boat another 30-40 min to swim before you sail past the island capri and then set course for sorrento and see again very beautiful views. Ask the crew about your free drinks in time they ask once or twice but it's more a matter of thinking about it for them I think haha. So in short, you want a nice cozy tour of all the beauty of capri with a cozy crew on a nice clean boat RECOMMENDED.

The trip did not occur due to a landslide

The road was closed on the way from Positano to Sorento due to a landslide. I contacted the company, with 1 hour to spare, that ofered to pick me up in Positano for aditional 150euros. I accepted but then, 5 min later, they wrote it was not possible after alI (no more reply after this point from the company). I asked for a cancelation and a refund and drove away. 20 minutes later I was contacted by another person, of the same company, telling me that the pickup from Positano was after all possible. I said that they had told me otherwise before and therefore I made other plans (Drove away other direction) and requested a refund. After talking to the manager, the worker said that if I wanted a refund I had to speak to Vialto (I booked in Booking) because they were not issuing it. Not correct that the company does not assume the statement from their worker and issue a refund (or at least propose a 50/50 split costs for a situation like a landslide).

Canceled on us

They canceled on us last minute when we arrived. We did get a refund but our plans were ruined and we had to figure out what to do with our only day there. Very disappointing

It was a good experience...

It was a good experience overall. It would have been nice for the tour guide to have a microphone so we could all hear when he talked. And maybe a debrief of the itinerary before starting. Otherwise, it was a good way to see and visit capri. I do have to mention that 2.5 hours is not nearly enough for anything aside having lunch.

Very Disappointing and Poor Value for Money

Very Disappointing and Poor Value for Money My son and I booked this private boat trip from Sorrento to Capri because it was advertised as a small-group experience with a maximum of 12 people on board, a guide, refreshments including soft drinks and beer, a sandwich lunch, snorkelling equipment, and a visit to the Blue Grotto. We expected a relaxed and enjoyable way to see the coastline before spending some time in Capri and then returning to Sorrento. Unfortunately, the experience fell far short of what was advertised. We arrived at the designated time, only to find complete chaos. We were left waiting for almost two hours before our boat was available. During this time, nothing was offered to guests, not even a drink, despite repeated apologies from staff. We later discovered that delays like this appear to be quite common for this company. Once we finally boarded, the situation did not improve. Despite the advertised refreshments, nothing was offered until my son specifically asked for a beer. He was then told that beer was not included in the trip, contrary to what had been advertised. The only refreshments we received throughout the day were bottles of water. The captain did point out a few sights along the coastline, but because he was driving the boat and speaking without any microphone or amplification, only the passengers sitting close to him could hear what he was saying. Most of us missed the commentary entirely. Perhaps the biggest disappointment for many passengers was the Blue Grotto. This was included as part of the advertised experience and was one of the main reasons several people on board had booked the trip. Once we were out at sea, we were informed that a visit would not be possible due to tidal conditions. While we appreciate that safety and sea conditions can affect access, tides are predictable and this should surely have been known well before departure. By this point, given everything else that had happened, I was no longer surprised, but many other passengers were understandably frustrated as the Blue Grotto was the highlight they had specifically paid to see. We also stopped for a swim, but there was no snorkelling equipment as advertised. The boat only had a few pairs of goggles, and there weren't even enough for everyone who wanted to go in the water. People had to share them, which was far from the snorkelling experience we had paid for. When we arrived in Capri, the advertised lunch turned out to be a soggy tomato and cheese roll and another bottle of water. It was extremely disappointing and nowhere near what we had expected based on the description of the trip. On our return, we raised our concerns with the company, but received no meaningful response, apology beyond the standard excuses, or compensation. While the boat ride itself was pleasant enough and Capri is beautiful, the trip was simply not worth the €140 per person we paid. For a fraction of the cost, you can take the ferry to Capri and have a very similar experience without being misled by promises that are not delivered. Overall, this excursion felt seriously misrepresented. We paid a premium price for refreshments, lunch, snorkelling equipment, guided commentary and a Blue Grotto visit that either never materialised or fell well below expectations. In reality, we paid €140 each for bottled water, a soggy roll and a delayed boat ride to Capri. Very disappointed, feeling completely out of pocket, and would not recommend this trip to anyone. ★☆☆☆☆ (1/5)
