We were absolutely thrilled to attend the Exclusive Evening at Schönbrunn Palace: After-Hours Audiotour, Dinner, and Concert. It was a truly unforgettable experience from start to finish, with every moment of the evening feeling magical and immersive. The after-hours audiotour through the palace set a breathtaking tone, and the elegant dinner that followed made the night feel even more special. The concert itself was absolutely captivating, performed in an atmosphere that felt both grand and intimate. My partner, who usually ends up dozing off during concerts, was completely engrossed from beginning to end. Watching him sit in awe throughout the entire performance was a testament to just how exceptional the musicians, the setting, and the overall experience were. We left feeling deeply moved and grateful to have been part of such a beautifully curated and memorable evening.
Mixed experience. The Schönbrunn Palace tour was advertised as an hour but we were finished in 25 minutes having listened to the entire audio guide. Our ‘guide’ then left us at the entrance to the restaurant and informed us that we should find our own way to the concert after the meal. The meal itself was ok but not memorable, service was excellent though. The concert itself was good.
For a group of tourists. Standard brasserie meal, beef was mandatory. Concert: orchestra behind the solo singers, sometimes masking their voices. For the same price, opt for a concert at the Musikverein, and snack at a 5-star hotel (Imperial Hotel).
Not very happy experience! Poorly marked, the visit too fast and the 'person' clearly dissatisfied. Only the concert was wonderful.
Well organized, reasonable food in a cosy setting and nice, typical Viennese concert
I was disappointed that half of the concert was opera singing. It should be advertised as such. I would have never booked it if I had known that!
Palace tour and dinner were awful and not worth the money. Tour was disorganized, under repair and overall underwhelming. Only 1 selection for dinner - beef and it was awful. Veg alternative was inedible and up-charge for water. Concert was good.
Dinner was terrible. Did not know the choices were limited. Fixed menu was not good. Would have gladly paid additional to get decent food
It was a special evening and the whole event was great. There could've been some better signage to guide us to the tour location, as it's a very large place but we found it eventually. The operators were very nice and answered all of our questions.
Great that you enjoyed it - thank you for sharing!🥰
Don't trust the instructions to find the starting point for the tour. The instructions might say to proceed to a building "inside the main gate" to meet. What they really mean to say is to do a 2 minute walk after entering the main gate, going past the first building inside the gate (which is the ticket office), and proceed to enter the main entrance of the Palace. Once in the entrance lobby of the main palace none of we tourist milling and asking each other for advise, could find any sign of a tour meeting place. Only around 5:30 pm - which was 15 minutes after the tour was to start, and 30 minutes after we were advised to arrive, did a pair of guides set-up a floor sign saying meeting point. Then the rest of the evening was fine. We did seem to be rushed a little on the palace tour (probably to get back on schedule.)
Thank you very much for your detailed feedback. May I ask where exactly you got the information about the meeting point from? Normally, there is an area plan, and the meeting point is clearly marked. I will definitely discuss this with the team. We hope you enjoyed the evening despite everything. Best regards from the Schönbrunn Orangery🎶
