Commencez le voyage avec un service de prise en charge depuis le hall de votre hôtel et faites-vous conduire à la jetée de Mae Haad où vous rencontrerez l'équipage de Sangthong Tours.
Promenez-vous sur la plage emblématique qui relie le groupe de trois îles de Koh Nangyuan et montez jusqu'au point de vue sur le sommet de la plus haute des trois îles. Il y a quelques zones de baignade séparées avec des poissons tropicaux, y compris le jardin japonais comme le meilleur endroit pour la plongée avec tuba et d'autres où vous pouvez simplement vous détendre et vous détendre.
Rendez-vous à Mango Bay tout en savourant un déjeuner de style thaïlandais à bord. La baie porte le nom de nombreux manguiers qui poussaient autrefois en abondance dans cette partie de Koh Tao. La magnifique baie de Mango brille d'un vert turquoise et de belles eaux pleines de vie marine. Continuez vers la baie de Hin Wong située sur la côte est de Koh Tao entourée de gros rochers. Il y a plusieurs pinacles sous-marins couverts de corail fertile, d'anémones et de nombreux types de poissons que l'on peut voir ici. L'eau ici est incroyablement claire et vous aurez peut-être la chance de voir de grands bancs de sardines chassés par des carangues affamées dans une eau de moins d'un mètre de profondeur.
Le prochain arrêt est à Aow Luek qui doit son nom à sa forme profonde et concave ainsi qu'à la profondeur de l'eau qui la rend idéale pour la plongée avec tuba même à marée très basse. Attendez-vous à un paysage époustouflant avec une plage de sable blanc et une eau aux nuances de bleu variées, et Shark Island en arrière-plan.
Avant de regagner l'embarcadère, faites une halte à Shark Bay où vous pourrez nager aux côtés des nombreux requins à pointes noires ou des tortues marines qui s'y rendent chaque jour.

Snorkeling tour where snorkeling is apparently not a priority Very disappointing experience. You will go to Koh Tao for the beautiful underwater world and book a snorkel tour because you want to see as much of it as possible. You would expect that snorkeling is actually the priority. Unfortunately not on this tour. On departure the sun was shining: perfect snorkeling weather. Logically, you would think that you would immediately sail to a beautiful snorkeling spot. Instead, the full boat was first brought to Nang Yuan. There we also had to pay an extra 250 baht per person and then stay for no less than 2.5 hours. Nang Yuan felt like one big tourist trap to us: crowded with tourists and little to do. We had booked a snorkel tour, not a mandatory stay of 2.5 hours on a busy island. When we finally left to actually go snorkeling, the sun was gone. And he stayed out for the rest of the day. The snorkeling itself was therefore quite disappointing. Of course, no one can do anything about the weather, but as an organizer you can handle the conditions smartly. When the sun shines, go snorkeling! You can visit a tourist island later. That seems rather obvious to us on a snorkel tour. Also striking: no flippers were provided. We did snorkeling tours in several places and webbed feet were just part of the equipment. Especially with a tour that is all about snorkeling, that is a strange cut. The lunch on the way was well catered for. It's fair to say that. But at the bottom of the line, disappointment prevails. The best part of the day was wasted on 2.5 hours on a crowded tourist island, after which we started doing what we actually booked the tour for. Our advice to the organization: make snorkeling the main thing of a snorkel tour and not the final piece of the program. For us absolutely not recommended.
Overall good, perhaps I would cut time from the first stop. Instead of 5 stops, we did 4. At the last stop at Shark Bay we were not lucky since there were many jellyfish and people like me did not go into the water because of that. For lunch they serve rice with spiced ground meat, vegetables, and a fried egg. For fruit, pineapple and watermelon. At the end of the day they send you the photos via WhatsApp.
We had a great day visiting 4 different snorkeling spots. The guides were excellent: very friendly and helpful, the good was good and plenty of it, it was organized very well and at a fair price. Afterwards they sent lots of underwater pictures taken by the guide, which was a nice bonus😁 Can highly recommend this tour/organization!
Wonderful from start to finish, the meal was excellent and local, with cut fruit, watermelon and pineapple.
A lot of fun and has the opportunity to see sharks and turtles while snorkeling. What we didn't know was that we still had to pay 250 baht on-site for admission at the first stop; it was some kind of beach resort.
Something for everyone: sharks, turtles, and fish of all colors!
