Snorkeling à Nusa Penida & Uluwatu Kecak Coucher de soleil et dîner

Booked a 6 hour private boat snorkel trip costing AUD$837 for 4 adults with 4 locations promised. So it wasn’t a cheap trip. Our driver in Sanur, Budi, was fabulous - great communication, on time and very helpful when we reached Sanur Port - 5 stars for home. Sadly I can’t say the same when we reached Nusa Penida. We were met and taken to the Mana Fish office at 8-50 and told to just “sit down and relax”. Our snorkelling boat was supposed to leave there at 9am. There was no boat in sight for us. We continued waiting with NO communication about what was happening. I asked a few times when is the boat coming for us and received the usual “maybe ten minutes”. We were finally picked up at 9-40am in what I can only describe as a sub-standard boat based on all the other boats we saw. We were supposed to have an English speaking guide, and whilst the 2 guys on the boat were lovely, both only spoke minimal English which made it very difficult. We were also not provided with towels which is stated as one of the inclusions. The snorkeling was ok. We did see a number of manta rays which was great, however Manta bay is sadly full of rubbish which detracts from the experience. Unfortunately, because of our very late start we missed out on the last snorkelling place and had to rush back to the port area, nearly missing our boat back to Sanur. It was disappointing as we don’t feel that we got what we paid for, and weren’t able to get the full experience we were expecting. For the price we paid I would have expected far better customer service and almost feel like we should be given a partial refund as we didn’t get the full trip experience. I can only hope that in writing this review, processes at the snorkelling office in Nusa Penida change, so that other visitors don’t experience what we did - Snorkeling In Nusa Penida Departing From Bali Island

We had a great time snorkelling. Everything was very organised, Budi text me the night before with pickup information. He arrived on time to the resort, and his driving was very good. We took our 2 year old so were a bit anxious but it was great. We were able to take it in turns snorkelling and we were able to amend our trip to make it shorter so she wouldn't get agitated. It was a very smooth day, and we had a great time.

Awful company. Told them we may need to postpone as kids were not well through school the week. They said it would be fine. Kids were sick on the crossing as everyone was rammed in a tiny boat and no visibility to see anything snorkelling. Waste of time and money.

Snorkelling experience was great and it did help booking a private boat as a couple of us were not swimmers. The prime reason for average rating is (1) the trip to Sanur is a long one (2) Sanur to Penida is an average public boat ride (3) highly unorganized coordination at Penida before getting into boat (it is a fish market), on the boat while the guide was very efficient for snorkelling he was not very encouraging at Manta Bay so we had to skip plus kept nagging for tips and we also felt like some of the breaches mentioned in the trip schedule were skipped.

Lovely experience. Agus our driver was amazing, he was so helpful and had very good communication throughout the trip via WhatsApp. Would highly recommend this trip to go to some lovely snorkelling spots.

Wonderful day on the boats today. Snorkeling was amazing with lots of vibrant coral and fish to see. Transport both ways was prompt and comfortable with our driver Agung.

Tour was very nice. Pickup was smooth with good taxi ride. We go on public boat which little crowded but okay. Company team give us update where to go, very helpful. We choose private tool, I think good choice for us. They give us personal photos, team take them good. We see manta rays, maybe four or five. Very nice to see but little cold in September. I think price okay, not too much. This team is good, I recommend if you like tour like this. Very good memory for us. Thank you.

Our lovely driver Agus was waiting nice and early for us at our accommodation in Canggu which was so nice. He was so happy, friendly and engaging and explained what to expect for our day out. Safely got us to the boat transfer and explained what happens when we get to Nusa Penida. The 4 snorkeling spots were so beautiful, clear blue water, great coral and plenty of fish to see. Unfortunately we did not see manta rays but we knew it couldn't be guaranteed as they are wild. Such a great day out and definitely recommend it. Shout out to Agus for navigating the hectic Canggu traffic all with a smile !

We booked for a private trip at 6:30am. The driver was already waiting for us in the car. We got to the port promptly and boarded the ship within 10 mins. After we arrived on the Island, we were told to get our equipments. I noticed some reviews claimed that the trip seemed a little unorganized, but we felt quite the opposite. The snorkeling experience was very nice in general, although we were not able to go to the Manta Bay due to big waves. We spotted a sea turtle though, which was surely the highlight of this trip. The whole trip lasted about 6 hours including the transportation, giving us plenty of time in the afternoon to wind down at our hotel.

We had a great time with Widi! He was super helpful getting us to and from as well as showing us around. He even pointed out a photo spot and took a picture. He has such a friendly and great attitude!
