Very nice way to see seals and to be on and get in the water! Captain Bob and Tess were great!!! Bring some warm clothes and a bathing suit
Our trip was fantastic! The guides were so knowledgeable about the local area and wildlife, packing in kayaking, snorkelling and boating is an excellent way to enjoy the beautiful bay. Highly recommend!!
This was a fantastic half day trip. We saw lots of seals and the tour guides Braybem, Summer, and Rob gave excellent guidance on how to be safe and respectful of the seals. They orvided a delicious lunch and great energy on the outing
Had a great day swimming with the seals. The water is a little murky, but there’s lots to see along the rocks and getting up close to the seals was amazing. The crew was knowledgeable and helpful. Great afternoon in a beautiful place. Highly recommend!
This was a once in a lifetime experience. The guides were amazing and accommodating and catered beautifully to my children. 10 out of 10 recommend. Beautiful views and scenery.
From start to finish, this trip was amazing. Everyone was welcoming and friendly, and even though traffic made us later than the hour early suggested arrival, there was no censure or frustration with us. The crew were super knowledgeable about the area, giving amazing details about the animals and the land that we were seeing. My parents stayed onboard the whole time, while the rest of my family either snorkeled or kayaked. The group we were paired with had a smaller child with them, and Emily and the rest of the crew did a great job adapting as needed to keep the younger child as engaged and involved as the adults around him. Every family member was raving about how friendly everyone was, how much wildlife they saw, etc. 10 out of 10 would recommend for families with children, families with elderly, people traveling solo, couples, basically every and anyone!
Really well organised, knowledgeable tour. Had great fun observing the seals and had the privilege of one swimming under me and popping up in front of my face. Fab experience
Well organized and coordinated tour. We had a lovely day in the bay. Saw about a dozen seals while swimming/ snorkeling and more after during the kayak. Some snacks in between. Be sure to apply sunscreen if taking off wetsuits (fully or partially) for kayaking.
Great experience, Crew explained clear what we were going to do and what not to do. The snorkeling was great as you get very close to the animals which were reacting very relaxes. Some young seals started to investigate us which was a great sighting. We even saw a whitetail deer close to shore who did not even react on our presence in the water. Water temperature was quite comfortable, it was the first jump into the water which was a little cold but when you go swimming it warms up nicely. The kayaking was good to do as you can cover more distance. We saw some mothers with very young pups (<1 week old). Guides were taking care we were not going to disturb with our presence. Some young seals were popping up right next to our kayaks looking at us which was nice to see these curious animals so close. I recommend this trip if you like to have an active and very nice experience. And I appreciated the warm hospitality of Captain Rob and his team.
This trip was everything we had hoped for and more. The crew were professional, genuinely friendly and very knowledgeable and the experience with the large seal colony was magical. The combination of swimming / snorkelling and kayaking was great and the wet suits and equipment ensured we were safe and comfortable. We were also allowed to jump into the sea from the roof of the boat which my 11 year old son loved so much. Highly recommend this experience and thanks to Skyler, Braydon and Emily for making it so enjoyable. Horseshoe Bay is also so pretty and because we were on this tour, we got a discount on some excellent food and drink at the local pub. We Ubered there and back from downtown Vancouver which was very reasonable and an easy way to travel there. Overall one of the highlights of our holiday.
