Visite œnologique d'une demi-journée de Hunter Valley

Our first visit to the Hunter Valley from Sydney was made even better thanks to Two Fat Blokes Gourmet Tours! We chose the half-day tour, and it was the perfect amount of time. We visited three fantastic locations, and each one exceeded our expectations. The wine and cheese tasting was definitely a highlight of the day. Everything was delicious, and the experience was made even better by our guide, who was incredibly knowledgeable and shared so much interesting insight into the Hunter Valley region, its wineries, and its history. The tour was well organised, relaxed, and a wonderful introduction to the Hunter Valley. We had such a great time and can’t wait to come back and book another tour. Highly recommend to anyone looking for a fun, informative, and memorable experience!

From the minute we got on the bus, we knew we were in for a wonderful day. Great host (Greg) and awesome people on board. The wineries were boutique, funky and fun. We had never met the people on our tour previously but we had an awesome mix of young and older and we all blended together into an amazing group for the day.

Great experience with a variety of differing wines and cheeses. Tour guide was a great explainer of different pairings and made the experience even better.

We booked the half day tour starting at 2 PM. There was a problem with our guide calling in sick, so there was miscommunication, where to pick us up and ultimately no tour guide. We arrived with no intro what's happening for the day or what we'll be doing. They sat us in a room to have wine tasting and cheese tasting, that was great, but please serve water if you want us to sit and wait for 10 min upon arrival. We then left and had 4 ciders at a winery. No intro, no time when we were leaving. Just served 4 drinks and sat on our own to read a sheet of what we were served. Finally went to a gin tasting, that was great. To be honest, this company is like a transport service dropping you to 3 places with no guide, no info. Not what we expected. Could have driven ourselves.

I've been doing tours with Two Fat Blokes for over 10 years, and I always enjoy the experience. Our guide, Greg, was fantastic friendly, knowledgeable, and very down-to-earth, which made the tour even more enjoyable. The only reason I'm giving 3 stars instead of 5 is that I noticed a few changes compared to previous tours. The cheese tasting portions weren't as generous as they used to be, and I was disappointed that the famous frozen drink was no longer included as a tasting. Those little extras were part of what made the experience so memorable. Overall, it was still a great day out, and Greg's excellent service made the tour enjoyable. I

Awesome half day tour Greg is an exceptional guide with a great sense of humour cracking jokes to bond the group. Vineyards visited were scenic and wines were delightful.

What an amazing guide Greg is! He's funny and knowledgeable and adapted well to our diverse group of 18 women aged 22-85. The tour was well organised with the first and last wineries helpful, well-staffed and friendly from entry to exit of the premise. Peppertree winery left a lot to be desired in the way of friendliness and interest in our group.

Greg was an amazing guide, very knowledgeable, funny and a great story teller. We thoroughly enjoyed our morning with him.

THE BEST TIME! A fantastic tour made even better by our driver Greg (5 stars). A wonderful selection of wines at Hungerford Hill and finally the 7 wines + 7 cheese tasting - fabulous. Definitely recommend 👌
