Sentez l'atmosphère de l'ancienne spiritualité polynésienne dans cet authentique temple en pierre à ciel ouvert (marae). Beaucoup disent que le mana – la force vitale de l’île – persiste encore entre les pierres, offrant une fenêtre puissante sur la culture et la croyance traditionnelles.
Sentez la fraîcheur fraîche de cette grotte alimentée par une source d'eau douce naturelle qui apporte une brise d'air frais à notre arrêt. Liée à la légende polynésienne, cette grotte ombragée est un endroit préféré des habitants pour se détendre et se baigner.
Jardins aquatiques de Vaipahi — Promenez-vous dans des sentiers ombragés et alimentés au printemps, bordés d’une flore tropicale luxuriante : oiseaux du paradis, torche au gingembre, lotus et plus encore. Admirez la petite cascade et les ruisseaux en cascade, les fleurs vibrantes et les piscines sereines qui en font un arrêt rafraîchissant.
Faarumai Waterfalls — Laissez-vous épater par une cascade de 300 pieds se déversant dans une vallée verdoyante. Suivez le chemin facile pendant que votre Guide indique les joyaux cachés tout au long du chemin, et écoutez la légende locale liée à cet endroit magique.
Point Venus — Profitez d'une vue imprenable sur la longue plage de sable noir, un endroit préféré des habitants. Visitez le phare et les monuments historiques tout en écoutant les récits des premiers navigateurs européens – le capitaine Cook et le capitaine Bligh – qui ont jeté l’ancre ici à Matavai Bay ; c’est un endroit agréable pour une promenade en bord de mer douce.

Angele talked from start to finish with local tales, general knowledge and a personality unrivalled. It was a treat to spend a half day with her. Although it rained quite a bit of the day we still completed the activities with umbrellas provided. We also stopped for road side chocolate donuts, fresh baby bananas, and breadfruit chips. The van was air conditioned and very comfortable. Was an excellent start to my time in French Polynesia. Thank you!

We had a pleasant enough drive around the island, in a group of 7 people in a well presented clean van. We took the afternoon tour starting at 1:30pm (2:00pm by the time all passengers were collected) but if taking the tour in the winter months, we would opt for the morning tour instead. It was almost dark by the time we arrived at our final viewpoint (and somewhat rushed to get there) and too late for sunset.

This was a great tour for seeing highlights of Tahiti. Our guide, Tamatea, was excellent. He was very knowledgeable about the places on the tour and particularly good at talking about the local plants and their uses in traditional Tahitian practices. All in all, highly recommended.

Outstanding day well spent esp if you are just getting into Papeete as you will see so much and learn so much about the culture, history and people. Eric and Eduard are excellent guides. This is a great way to start your trip, then rent a car and go back to the places you might want to see more of or stop to see areas of interest. Or book another walking tour of the city. Or do this and then do the tour into the mountains.

A wonderful and comprehensive tour. Our guide was extremely well versed on the attractions we visited. He bought us water and fruit to enjoy while we were traveling around the complete circle of the island. i had done a similar tour a few years ago on a tour sold to us on our cruise ship. This tour is a fraction of the price and far better value. The small group tour is a real winner. If your cruise line tries to frighten you about a local tour , and leaving without you, just book a morning tour. The pick up service is excellent and ran to time.

We really enjoyed the tour. The guide was very knowledgeable and friendly, and the van was clean. The van, however, was completely full; which made things a bit "snug". Additionally, the guide seemed rushed, and we moved through some sites quickly.
