Chaque étape de dégustation a été sélectionnée non seulement pour sa qualité de nourriture, mais aussi pour son histoire à raconter, la passion de ses habitants et son importance dans la communauté locale. Après avoir rencontré notre guide, le premier arrêt gastronomique est dans un endroit au centre du centre historique de la ville de Corfou appelé "le saint" où nous aurons un brunch typiquement grec. Le brunch comprend la traditionnelle tarte au fromage grec, la tarte aux épinards, la tarte à la crème anglaise, la bière au gingembre, le baklava et ensuite le célèbre yogourt grec.
Notre deuxième arrêt gastronomique présentera à nos visiteurs le fruit du kumquat local. Nous allons essayer la liqueur de kumquat, les délices grecs aromatisés au kumquat et le "mandolato" un corfiot sucré à base de nougat.
La seule laiterie traditionnelle qui reste dans la ville de Corfou depuis 1950 où vous aurez l'occasion de déguster le fameux beurre frais de Corfiot qu'ils fabriquent tous les jours, un pudding et galaktoboureko (tarte à la crème).
Lors de cet arrêt, nous aurons l'occasion de présenter à nos visiteurs les premiers ingrédients et épices de la nourriture Corfiot et de faire une dégustation d'huile d'olive, car l'huile d'olive était le revenu majeur de Corfou pendant des siècles. Le propriétaire de la boutique nous donnera des conseils et des conseils secrets pour cuisiner certains des célèbres plats grecs.
Notre visite se terminerait dans un restaurant où nous prendrons un déjeuner / dîner assis. Nous allons essayer la cuisine traditionnelle locale de Pastitsada et Sofrito. Nos clients essaieront l'ouzo ou le vin et pourront se détendre en savourant un repas à la fin de la visite.

Electra is an amazing guide. We were on a 7 day cruise and her tour was the highlight of our vacation. The tour included some history and ALOT of great food and recommendations. If you are unsure, just book it, you will not regret it. (Come hungry, there is alot of food and it all tastes great)

This experience you must subdue yourself. It is a really good mix of food and history. For example, how history has put its mark on Corfu and thus also the gastronomy. Our guide, Alice, was really good at conveying the story in a lively way and the delicacies we got along the way fit into the overall experience. We left there with a feeling of having gotten a better insight into Corfu and an understanding of what it really is like to live there. Good and interesting trip!

Really informative excursion, our guide Alice was fantastic, so enthusiastic, knowledgeable and personable. The excursion was more than just a food tour. Our tour with Nausica was absolutely amazing! We sampled a wonderful variety of foods that are unique to Corfu's culture while strolling through the charming streets of Old Town and learning about its rich history. We had a wonderful evening with our guide Elektra on the walking food tour in Corfu town. We learnt about the history of Corfu while we wandered through the beautiful old town. We stopped to sample food along the way, delicious pastries, meats and cheeses, and sweets before having a meal in a taverna. Elektra was so knowledgeable and great fun to be with. I highly recommended this tour.
