Awesome your and a wonderful way to visit Uji without the crowds. Our guide was amazing!
Thank you for joining us on the Uji Slow Cycling Tour. We hope to enjoy slow cycling with you again when you visit Japan!
What a great way to tour Uji, getting to see a lot in one go. Takashi was wonderful and spent time to explain the history of Uji, giving us just the right amount at each place. He was right, this is a slow tour by bike, a little easy riding by bicycle to each of the sights. Perfection.
Thank you for joining us on the Uji Slow Cycling Tour! I myself was able to rediscover Uji's nature, history, and culture at a leisurely pace alongside you. I hope we can enjoy slow cycling together again when you visit Japan.
Beautiful experience! The guide was very professional and friendly and we enjoyed the city and its culture at its fullest by bike!
Thank you very much for joining us on the Uji Slow Cycling Tour! I really enjoyed the tour myself, thanks to Pokémon and other anime. Please continue to enjoy Japanese culture!
My guide today, Takashi, was an absolute prince, with expert area knowledge, chill vibe, and true kindness. I was the only person on the tour and loved every minute and learned so much (tea culture and histories of the shrines and temples on the route, even down to the growing seasons of the various flowers in this lovely landscape). Cycling along the river and through the colorful small streets of Uji made amazing memories for me and I was grateful at how accommodating Takashi was for my many requests to stop and photograph every beautiful thing along the way. He also kept safety in mind throughout our journey, alert to cars and pedestrians. Tried my first Matcha beverage at our lunch stop and I know I'll never taste anything as delicious as that again (I've already tried at 2 different Kyoto places and nope, not even close). Do this tour. You will have a really good day!

One of the highlights of our 13 day Japan trip. Exploring and touring the quaint town on bike was the way to go and Takashi was a great guide! He took us along a beautiful river trail, a serene temple up in the hill (amazingly with no other tourist or ppl at that time) and all the other must see/do in Uji. He was great at explaining about the culture, religion, tea. Thanks Takashi!

We very much enjoyed this slow cycling tour of Uji. The pacing worked well, with plenty of stops at various places of interest (museum, temples, shrines, and scenic photo spots). The tour guide was knowledgeable about the history and making of tea, and we had a beautiful view of the river on our ride. Not to mention the lovely cafe we stopped at for lunch! Highly recommend this tour.
Thank you so much for joining us on the Uji Slow Cycling Tour! May is tea-picking season, and we’re delighted to hear you were able to enjoy a leisurely tour of Uji. We’d love to have you join us again the next time you visit Japan.
Takashi was on time and clear with where to meet up I’m not particularly confident on a bike so I signed up with some concern All my concerns were unfounded because the brampton bike is so easy to ride A lot less intimidating than a normal bike We were taken to quiet streets and explored the whole area quiet easily with the bike and takashi’s guidance We enjoyed our time thoroughly It just means that it isn’t just a shopping trip You really do get a higher appreciation of the making of the tea
Thank you very much for joining us on the Uji Slow Cycling Tour. Since it happened to be tea-picking season in Uji, we were delighted to explore the town with you. We hope you continue to enjoy your time in Japan!
Very informative guide. Cycling was comfortable and absolutely loved the quiet temples which I wouldn’t have thought to visit.

Incredible bike trip through all of the sites of Uji. Fantastic, very knowledgeable guide who took lots of photos for us during our trip! He took us to a lot of sites we wouldn’t have known to go to. The bikes were so easy to ride and so fun — this was the best part of our time in Kyoto and helped make our honeymoon so special.
