Our guide, Shanu, picked us up before 5 am! This allowed us to enter this beautiful site before it became crowded. The Taj Mahal is absolutely incredible with such history & beauty. Shanu was able to share information about the craftsmanship, the meaning of the carvings, the gems used and the overall history of this site—giving us more than just the obvious visual beauty.
