Skip-the-line Ancient Herculaneum propose une visite exclusive avec un guide privé

Description

Worth it, much better than Pompeii. Very many original items available, condition very good. Far fewer tourists than Pompeii, exciting story. I can only recommend it.
I give this tour at this moment 2 stars. I came for the skeletons, you can't even walk down to them to admire them from very up close. I asked a worker why it was closed and he answered: Only on Saturday. I asked another lady and she said NEVER. these lies! pffff. There are also other places and you can't get close because it was closed, not nice! I paid a lot for this trip and you can't even make good pictures and admire things. It's pretty but not worth that much of money tho.
Background stories on why and how it was built. And why is was buried. Very personal service and history lessons
Booked online with Askos tours. Friendly, extremely passionate guide. Clearly proud to show people round. Great knowledge and keen to make the children in the tour group feel included. Two hours was perfect amount of time and thanks to the guide we really felt like we’d come away understanding life In Herculaneum. Would recommend!
Stunning. So much more meaningful than Pompeii, where many of its artifacts are in the museum in Naples. Two storey houses, colourful mosaics and a real sense of history. The beach and skeletons found there were jaw dropping.
Very nice and much smaller than pompeji you should have seen.Unfortunately, as in pompeji there are no signs with explanations for the photos at home and fountain with water as in pompeji would be nice to cool off.
Our guide explained the difference of how the volcanic eruption impacted Pompeii and Herculaneum, also the differences of the towns. He showed us the ruins and explained the shops and homes, etc. Lots of finds in the museum. Very interesting.
We were approached by Dr Luciano Leone in front of the ticket office in Ercolano and received an always entertaining two-hour tour in English. Through him, we have gotten an enormous amount of knowledge in an entertaining way. Through additional materials he carried around, he resurrected life 2,000 years ago before our eyes. He also took a lot of nice family photos of us as an extra bonus. We can highly recommend him. You can contact him directly at lucianoleone2005@libero.it or https://www.guidaturisticacampania.net/chi-sono/?lang=en or call 338.8109890. There are many guides there - Luciano is worth every euro of his tour.
The site itself is amazing. Our tour guide brought it to life. She had a ton of details and interesting facts that heightened the experience. I would absolutely recommend this destination, but especially this tour!
I visited Herculaneum with y two boys (aged 5 and 8) and booked Luciano Leone as private guide, having read other great reviews. I contacted him directly before we left the UK (00 338 8109890 or lucianoleone2005@libero.it) and arranged the tour date and meeting spot. I was concious that I wanted to make the best of the visit and keep the young minds interested - and all I can say - is that I wasn't disappointed. Luciano was fantastic - so enthusiastic and kept my children engaged for the 2 hour visit. They were enthralled by his knowledge and interesting facts a bout Herculaneum - which is a nicer experience than Pompeii - quieter, better preserved and smaller so a bit more manageable! I highly recommend Luciano and the tour - it really made our visit!
