Niché au cœur de la vallée de la Paarl, Fairview est réputé pour ses vins prix, ses fromages artisanaux et son hospitalité chaleureuse. La ferme a une riche histoire qui remonte à la fin du XVIIe siècle, lorsque la ferme a été concédée au premier colon, un huguenot Français nommé Charles Back. Initialement connue sous le nom de Bloemkoolfontein, la ferme a ensuite été renommée Fairview en raison de sa vue imprenable et du paysage environnant. Aujourd'hui, la ferme appartient toujours à la famille Back. En entrant dans le domaine, vous serez accueilli par une vue imprenable sur les vignobles et la charmante architecture du Cap Néerlandais qui caractérise la région. Thank you very much for a perfect visit to 2 wineries, namely Fairview and Marrianne. A very good experience for us to be able to be introduced and tried difference types of reds and whites wine. We had a wonderful half day tour of Stellenbosch. Our guide Cotlint was amazing. She kept us entertained in the car by giving us a lot of information about South Africa. The first winery we stopped at had great wine and cheese (and goats!). The second winery had an incredible view, good wine, tasty jerky, and a vegetarian option for those who don’t eat meat. We were able to walk around the second winery and get great pictures. Following the wine, we had a nice ride through the town of Stellenbosch while Cotlint played us music. The energy was high throughout the tour and that is all thanks to Cotlint. Highly recommend this tour. Dankie Cotlint!

This tour brought us to 2 wine makers, each place hase 6-7 wine + taste pairings. We had a good group of people, everyone enjoyed themselves.

An amazing experience. Already started during the drive to the first wine farm where our driver explained about the history and different regions of cape town. The first wine farm had amazing wine and cheese and on the second very strong wine with biltong. A half day is plenty for liking after 11 glasses of wine I have seen most of it. Wine farms have beautiful view and as a group we connected well. Perfect for solo travelers and smaller groups.
