Nous nous sommes arrêtés pour prendre des photos de l'extérieur du Palais national de Sintra, des somptueuses maisons de Sintra et du château maure.
Arrêtez-vous pour prendre de superbes photos du lac et de son petit château, ainsi que pour admirer la vue spectaculaire du palais de Pena depuis l'extérieur.
Nous avons visité l'intérieur du palais avec des explications sur sa construction, ses intérieurs et ses extérieurs, ainsi que sur son contexte historique et culturel!
La maison d'un homme qui appartenait à la franc-maçonnerie. Il a créé une maison avec un jardin enchanté qui est une métaphore maçonnique avec des grottes, des puits d'initiation, des labyrinthes, des temples maçonniques et des grottes ! Une expérience unique ! La visite de ce monument est le seul moment de la journée où le guide n'est pas physiquement présent, bien qu'il donne toutes les explications avant l'entrée du groupe. Il n'y a pas de parking pour laisser la camionnette à moins de 1,5 kilomètre et il est impossible de laisser la voiture si loin et de faire tout le trajet à pied avec les visiteurs. L'ensemble du groupe sera déposé à l'entrée du palais et récupéré par le guide à la fin.

Passez devant la baie de Cascais, sa forteresse, le musée Castro Guimarães et admirez les collines de Cascais et leurs maisons imposantes.
Découvrez la ville d'Estoril avec le plus grand Casino de toute l'Europe. ses demeures imposantes et ses plages. Voyagez toujours le long de la zone côtière jusqu'à Lisbonne où notre visite se terminera.
Nous longerons la côte, en passant devant plusieurs plages emblématiques où vous pourrez voir de nombreux surfeurs profiter des vagues !

This tour was great! Super informative on the history and pro tips on where to take the best photos before places get congested with people. It was great to be first in line to get into the Pena palace and we didn’t appreciate it until we saw how crazy the lines were and how crowded it had started to get while on our way out. Our guide Lukas was amazing and so entertaining. I would recommend taking this tour if you are wanting to get out of Lisbon to see the nearby sights.
We were looking forward to this trip with our family of 8 but we’re extremely disappointed with how this tour was operated. We showed up to the meeting place as directed at 7am and then waited an additional hour while for the tour guide to show up. Our guide didn’t pay for his own admission to the castles and grounds and told us to walk around and meet him outside after we were done. We were then driven to lunch, which was good, but were never told when when we needed to finish so when we left 90min later the guide was angry we took so long and we were falling behind schedule. We told him maybe he should have gotten up earlier. The rest of the tour was more of the same, little to no information on what we were seeing and lots of “I’ll wait by the van while you walk around”. This was a very expensive uber ride. Avoid and go with another tour company.
We had an amazing time with Lukas (our guide) - I highly recommend not just booking this tour, but booking with him specifically. Lukas was very knowledgeable, told us so much about the history and events for each location. Best of all - do yourself a favor and book early in the morning. With Lukas we were able to skip the lines at Pena Palace and take some amazing photos and have an exclusive view. Each location we visited was carefully chosen, with breathtaking views and great photo opportunities. What made this such a pleasant experience is being able to bond with everyone on our tour, we did car karaoke, laughed, got to know each other and had an awesome lunch together. If you want to have an amazing experience- book this tour and book with Lukas!
Such a fun experience and a great way of seeing Sintra + the surrounding towns. Ines our tour guide was organized, funny, and knowledgeable. My partner and I had a super fun time.
Hello everyone, typically I dont write reviews, but as having travelled to many places in Europe, visiting Portugal and Lisboa has been one of the most amazing experiences, I have ever had ! The main reason that made my experience beyond amazing is having met Mr Lukas ♥️ @ HappyTours, our group was comprised of people from Brazil, Bulgaria, Canada and California. Mr Lukas, is an excellent tour adventurer, the description of what the tour package offers is far more than what they advertised. Mr Lukas took his knowledge of the beautiful sites and made sure that as a group we would feel and get to know what it is to be a part of Lisboa as a community. Mr Lukas explained so many details of all the area, speaking in Portuguese, Spanish, French and English, everyone knew what each area had to offer, details about the amazing history from the kings, Queens, Concubines and Politcal characters that have made the city what it is! Short Kings with tall Queens, intimate details of family drama mother in laws , the gossiping of the nobles and the Royal Court! an original reality show of why each castle and noble home was built, who lived where and why. Madonna, yes Madona "Like a Virgin", will Madonna ever get to purchase her castle? Will Jhony Depp ever be seen in Sintra? Will we ever see James Bond at the casino? Heck will Formula 1 come back? If you want to know heck, forget Google! Mr Lukas makes sure that such details are answered. After having the privilege of entering a Pena Castle as a first group, getting the best angles of amazing views and background shots you need Mr Lukas! Easy access to the best gems of the amazing structures, the gardens what flowers and trees were planted all the details about the rooms, the drama heck even the history of the furry friends the Royal family had! I felt that I was in a live movie. After viewing the most amazing views and thinking this was it, we were taken to the amazing local beaches and surrounding natural wonders , we experienced amazing food , I started to believe I was King Carlos! The most tendered steak and mouth watering sauce with amazing beverages that I ever had topped with a delicious dessert. The tour kept going, the deepest well I ever went down , majestic Chappell another Palace that I stepped in, Mr Lukas made sure I was a king for a day, with my amazing Royal court of people from all over the world. Mr Lukas thank you, obrigado and Muchas Gracias, I will forever remember my tour in Lisboa, I laughed so much this day, I forgot I was not King Carlos, I recommend a tour, but make sure you do it with Mr Lukas, and don't forget with a "K"
Today was amazing!! We had Lukas as a tour guide and he was incredible! He was full of energy, information, and made sure we had the best experience! He took pictures and videos for every member of our group, he arranged for early entry into the palace to make sure we could see everything before it was too crowded. He made sure the drive was fun and entertaining and even included car karaoke!! I would definitely recommend the tour and Lukas as a guide! So glad we had this experience! Thanks again, the Canadian Queens (a name Lukas gave our friend group)!
Lukas was a great tour guide. Very familiar with everything and an entertaining person. He helped our small group have a lot of fun, avoid crowds as much as possible, and took us to have good food.
We had an awesome experience with Happy Tours! Lukas was a phenomenal tour guide. He was very knowledgeable and experienced. We were the first in line at Pena Palace, as advertised. The lunch was a very nice experience, with unlimited wine with our lunch order. (Paid for separately). The most amazing thing about the tour, in my opinion, is that our tour guide is an amazing photographer. He facilitated Family photos and sent them to us in a group WhatsAPP message. The photography provided her some of my favorite ones from our trip to Portugal.
The one day tour was amazing and it was wonderful to not worry about how to get to the places in such a short time. The reminders of what we should bring for the tour was most appreciated (ie jacket, sunscreen etc) . Eddy very knowledgeable, detailed oriented and wonderful personality that provided entertainment while he was doing the tour. We got to hear the history and immerse in the tour. The tour group was small and felt more personable. Eddy was able to get us to the Pena palace to be one of the first in line so we can get great pictures . He knew which where to stand to get the wonderful pictures. Also, the lunch at the restaurant had wonderful fresh seafood and the prices were reasonable. It was a wonderful touch to include the Portuguese egg tart for us to try and to try and teach us a Portuguese song so we can sing in the car (so only we can hear how bad the singing was 😉) Definitely recommend the Happy Tours Portugal ask for Eddy! Our family had an amazing experience with Happy Tours Portugal, and our guide Eddy made the day truly unforgettable. We visited some of the most beautiful places around Lisbon, including Sintra, Cascais, Quinta da Regaleira (with the incredible Initiation Well), and several other scenic spots. What really set this tour apart was Eddy's deep local knowledge. He knew exactly how to maximize our time, including getting us into the Sintra National Palace early, which helped us avoid the crowds and enjoy the experience at a relaxed pace. Eddy struck the perfect balance between being informative and entertaining. The tour was packed with fascinating history and local insights, but it never felt like a lecture. His passion for Portugal was obvious throughout the day and made every stop more meaningful. One of the highlights was lunch at a fantastic local restaurant that we never would have found on our own. The fun didn't stop when we got back in the car—we even ended up doing karaoke during the drive, which had everyone laughing and singing along.
