Mauro was an exceptional tour guide, brimming with impressive knowledge of the enchanting town of Sintra. With his passionate storytelling and deep understanding of its history, he brought the vibrant culture and breathtaking sights to life, ensuring that every moment of the tour was both informative and captivating.
We had a wonderful half day tour of Sintra. Last minute booking as our cruise start got delayed. Everything was perfect, on time, no waiting on lines at all. Our guide was extremely knowledgeable and provided just the right amount of information. For our convenience we got dropped off in Belém so we were able to also visit that part of town in our short visit to Lisbon. Highly recommend
Lucas is very knowledgeable about Sintra and the castles in the area. He explained the history, architecture, and historical figures. This is a great tour. Highly recommended
If you come to Lisbon you must take this tour with Mauro! I have been on tours all over the world and this was one of my favorites because of his knowledge about Portugal! I am so happy we decided to go with a tour vs walking around pena palace on our own. Could not recommend this tour more!
Mauro made our morning in Sintra amazing! He was friendly, informative and accommodating throughout. He made nice conversation and was very knowledgeable about the area. We were given water in the car and time to relax and get coffee. The day was adapted to suit the weather and the crowds so we were never queuing for anything. A nice touch at the end was he dropped us off at the market we mentioned we were going to afterwards so we didn't have to make our own way there.
Mauro was fantastic, very personable and extremely informative with a deep passion for the history of Siintra. He made us feel very comfortable and answered all our questions. He even returned us back to the hotel rather than the point of pickup as it was late in the evening. Will recommend highly, you will not be disappointed.
Love the company but the tour description was not at all clear. We thought we were going inside the palace with the tickets we had but our tickets were not included for that. We climbed to the palace to only see a church. We traveled from USA to Sintra so excited to see the palace but never saw inside. We were so disappointed and very sad. Loved our tour guide!
Dear Isabel… I’m very unhappy and I’m in shock after your review ( 1*) In the description is clearly wrote you will visit “ terraces and chapel “ which you can find ; Point 1 / Itinerary Also mentioning about no offering you ginjinha is highly no fair , because our guide offering you but you skipped because you are kosher and vegetarian!!! By your unfair review, our 5* services dropped , where reason of your unhappy is on your side. For further experience with tours I highly recommend for you to read carful description or use contact button with seller to confirm your doubts. Regards Lukasz
The guide was courteous and thoughtful having short frequent stops on the way to the top! He was very interesting to listen to and made it a very fun if energetic trip.
It’s a place you should go in Portugal and enjoy the view and the weather. Have extra time to enjoy the local food there
We picked this tour from reviews and agree that the guides, Nelson and Lukas, were very knowledgeable. The palace was amazing and beautiful. Our time in the town of Sintra was an added bonus. Would highly recommend if you only have half day to experience. We had extra time and they drove us out to Belem on the way back :-)
