Commencez par votre Guide qui vous attendra au MRT Chinatown, sortie A (niveau de la rue, en haut des escaliers mécaniques). Nous nous dirigeons directement vers le plus grand centre de colportage de Singapour, un complexe massif avec plus de 260 stands. C'est l'étape ultime pour les amateurs de cuisine, offrant une variété inégalée de saveurs locales. Comme deuxième étape, nous nous déplaçons au premier centre alimentaire de Little India avec plus de 100 stands. À quoi s'attendre : Indian Food Focus : Goûtez à une sélection de plats indiens préférés locaux et découvrez les épices et les traditions qui définissent cette partie essentielle de l’identité de Singapour. Authentic Local Vibe : Découvrez l'atmosphère haute énergie de ce monument et observez l'activité animée de la communauté locale de restauration. Promenade Little India : Entre deux dégustations, nous nous promènerons dans le quartier pour voir les boutiques historiques, explorer le marché humide et assister à l’artisanat de la fabrication de guirlandes florales.
Comme troisième étape, nous explorons l'historique Kampong Glam. Autrefois siège de la royauté malaise, ce quartier dynamique est aujourd’hui une plaque tournante majeure des scènes culinaires malaises et moyen-orientales de Singapour. À quoi s'attendre : Saveurs malaises et moyen-orientales : Goûtez à une sélection de plats locaux et découvrez les riches épices et traditions qui définissent les goûts authentiques de cette enclave culturelle. Authentic Heritage Vibe : Imprégnez-vous de l'atmosphère de l'un des plus anciens quartiers de Singapour, où des monuments majestueux comme la mosquée Sultan côtoient un mélange de vie traditionnelle et moderne. Gary was an awesome tour guide! He led us around multiple neighborhoods, providing a great level of detail for the history of the areas, supplemented with personal anecdotes and insight into Singaporean culture only a local would know. All the food stops were delicious, too! After the tour, he provided some additional recommendations for the the rest of our time in the city. Would highly recommend this tour with Gary!
This food tour was an absolute blast from start to finish! Gary was the real deal—he had a fully detailed story for every single dish, snack, and drink we tried, and each one made me see Singapore in a whole new light. We hit up three neighborhoods: Chinatown, Little India, and Kampong Glam, and the food at every stop was uniquely flavorful. I also learned so much stuff about each district just from hearing Gary chat about the city, apart from the food. I picked him specifically because he's an ex-chef, and man, did that pay off!—he totally knew on how everything was made, and his passion was in full display. You could tell he actually got the craft behind the food, not just the history. But honestly? The highlight of the whole day was this hawker stall at Chinatown Complex where I had the most ridiculously good Hainanese chicken rice and a latte at Maxwell that somehow hit just right. Simple, perfect, unforgettable. If you're into food and want someone who knows their stuff inside and out about Singapore, Gary's your guy!

Gary was great company and very knowledgeable about all things Singapore not just the food but the culture and history. He took us to many great areas to try fantastic food and drinks. We did this tour on our first full day in Singapore and I highly recommend doing this, it introduced us to the amazing Singapore food and the correct etiquette at Hawker Markets. We had Gary to ourselves it was just myself and my partner on this tour so felt like we had a private tour. Gary said he only does small group tours as he wants it to feel more personable, unlike some of the big tour groups. Definitely go hungry there is a lot of great food. Gary is starting out his business and we wish him every success, we would highly recommend you book this tour we can guarantee you will not regret it.
