CAVES DE VINIFICATION ET D’ÉLEVAGE Nichée au milieu des vignobles et des oliveraies, au cœur de la campagne toscane, l’église de San Giorgio a Lapi remonte au XIe siècle et abrite de précieux fresques de l’école des Nasini. Un lieu chargé d’histoire, d’art et de charme qui raconte les racines les plus authentiques du territoire entre le Chianti et les Crete Senesi, où spiritualité, tradition et paysage se rencontrent depuis des siècles.

TERRASSE PANORAMIQUE DE SAN GIORGIO A LAPI L’expérience se termine sur la terrasse panoramique de San Giorgio a Lapi, surplombant les collines du Chianti et des Crete Senesi. À l’ombre d’un ancien mûrier blanc, vous dégusterez 4 vins de notre production ainsi que notre huile d’olive extra vierge, accompagnés d’un déjeuner toscan traditionnel complet comprenant une entrée, un premier plat, un plat principal avec accompagnement et un dessert, préparés avec des produits locaux. Un moment de détente à vivre au milieu des parfums, des saveurs et des couleurs de la campagne toscane, avec une vue qui embrasse deux des paysages les plus fascinants du territoire siennois.

What an incredible experience at St Giorgio di Lapi. The wine tasting was set amongst some of the most beautiful vineyard scenery we’ve ever seen, making it a truly memorable afternoon. The lunch was exceptional – every course was beautifully prepared and of a standard that genuinely felt worthy of a Michelin star. The wines were outstanding and perfectly complemented the food. A special mention to Eleanor, whose knowledge, passion and enthusiasm brought the whole experience to life. Her tour was fascinating, informative and delivered with genuine warmth, making us feel incredibly welcome throughout. If you’re visiting the Chianti region, this is an absolute must. Fantastic wine, outstanding food, breathtaking views and first-class hospitality.

We were a family of 6 aged 19-60 and we all had the most wonderful time. Benedetta our guide was amazing. Her knowledge of the area, the vineyard and each of the wines produced there was impressive. We walked through the vineyard to the family chapel and were shown every aspect of their production. Even the lunch that accompanied the wine tasting was delicious and all overlooking the beautiful Tuscan Hills. Just idyllic. This place is a little gem. We would definitely recommend.

Our visit was amazing. We went on a fabulous tour with the greatest tour guide and had lunch on the terrace which was paired with a selection of their wines. While it is a smaller venue as compared to others, it was perfect for us. It was a relaxed, authentic, and intimate experience which is what we were looking for. The terrace view was so peaceful. We enjoyed their wine and olive oil so much that we had several bottles shipped back home, which was also a seamless and easy process. We will return should we be fortunate enough to visit Italy again. (Food was so good too!)

We had a great afternoon which started with a very informative and interesting tour. Our tour guide was terrific. It was followed by a 4-course meal and wine tasting to accompany the meal. The meal was one of the best while we were in Italy and the wine was superb as well. It was so beautiful to have lunch on the terrace overlooking the country side. We had wine and olive oil shipped back to the US because we loved it so much. It was a smaller venue but the service and setting gave it a very relaxed, intimate, and less touristy vibe. The ratings are high for a reason.

Helena was spectacular. A sommelier from France working at a fourth-generation vineyard and olive oil farm. Outstanding wine and EVO! The meal was extraordinary, prepared by a superior chef. Our favorite tour this time to Italy.
Only a 15 euro taxi journey from Siena but very peaceful and well away from the city hustle and bustle, lovely people food and wine plus information on wine making and etiquette.
San Giorgio is an incredible family run winery with a great history. We enjoyed a wonderful tour of the vineyard and production facilities, led by one of the sons of the family. We then had a great tasting of their wines and delicious lunch cooked by one of the other brothers. Overall an incredible experience and value for the cost, a must stop if in Siena.
This was amazing experience! Sophia was such a knowledgeable, friendly tour guide. The vineyard is gorgeous, the cellars were so interesting, and the lunch and wines were fantastic! Gorgeous views, great wines, and awesome people - what more can you ask for?!
