La basilique de San Domenico est l’une des églises les plus importantes de Sienne. Elle se situe entre la place San Domenico et la Via della Sapienza. Construit au 13ème siècle, il a été agrandi au siècle suivant. Il contient la relique de la tête de sainte Catherine de Sienne, à l'intérieur d'une magnifique chapelle Renaissance construite pour l'occasion.
Le Duomo di Siena (visite à l'extérieur) est une église médiévale de Sienne, en Italie, dédiée dès ses débuts en tant qu'église mariale catholique romaine, et maintenant dédiée à l'Assomption de Marie. Construite entre 1214 et 1263, elle présente une structure en croix latine, une coupole peu saillante avec le clocher à côté. L'extérieur et l'intérieur sont décorés de blocs de marbre blanc alternés avec de fines rayures noires verdâtres, ce sont les couleurs représentatives de Sienne.
C'est le cœur de la ville de Sienne, le pivot du centre historique déclaré patrimoine mondial par l'UNESCO et l'une des plus belles places du monde. La Piazza del Campo a la forme d'une coquille divisée en neuf sections, en mémoire des Neuf Seigneurs qui gouvernaient la ville à la fin du XIIIe siècle et surprend par son élégance et sa forme unique au monde. Appelée ainsi parce qu'elle était autrefois un espace vert qui accueillait le marché, la Piazza del Campo est aujourd'hui le salon de la ville et l'arène en plein air où se déroule le célèbre Palio deux fois par an. Chaque année, le 2 juillet et le 16 août, la place pavée en pietra serena est recouverte d'une couche de terre composée d'un mélange de tuf et de sable, dans laquelle les chevaux des quartiers s'affrontent dans une course rapide.
San Gimignano est une petite ville médiévale fortifiée de la province de Sienne. "La ville aux cent tours" et conserve ses caractéristiques d'origine et son charme intemporel. De plus, le nom «San Gimignano» est associé à l’un des vins les plus historiques de la Toscane: «La Vernaccia di San Gimignano». En arrivant à San Gimignano, vous explorerez ses charmantes rues médiévales, visiterez le vieux centre de cette ville magnifique où le célèbre vin du Chianti est produit.

It is already the second tour I do with this company and we have been delighted. Both drivers and guides are very professional, affable and close. Always trying to get you the best experience. In this case with Luigi and Giuseppe, lovely. The area is spectacular, you want more, but you get a good idea of what Tuscany is. Our guide Antoinetta & driver Pedro were phenomenal! She shared so many amazing stories along the way, made every stop exciting & on top of it all, treated us like family. The cities we visited were so rich in history & just beautiful. The final stop was the winery where we had a great lunch paired with 6-7 different wines. My daughter and I had the most amazing day with Giuseppe as our fabulous host and 4 other wonderful people on our tour. Wonderful day trip of Siena and San Gimignano from Rome. Our tour guide Sam was very attentive and friendly, knowledgeable and accommodating to our schedule. We loved seeing the villages and then loved our 2 hour fabulous lunch and wine tasting at Tenuto Torciano. My husband and I were very tired from a lot of other travel and Sam and the driver Adam were very patient by adjusting the schedule a bit to shorten our day to 10 hours instead of longer. Adam drove so safely and was such a gentleman. His BMW was a smooth ride and Sam wanted to make everything perfect for us. It was the perfect end to our Italy vacation. We got a good flavor of the cities on the hill and absolutely Loved the winery. The winery was an exquisite property and the owner who led our wine tasting was informative and friendly. The lunch was absolutely delicious! The experience far exceeded our expectations.

THIS IS NOT A WINE TOUR!!!!! DO NOT ADVERTISE AS SUCH!! Its a walking history tour that concludes with a brief 2-hour meal and wine tasting. Borderline time-share trap at the conclusion of dinner where order forms and the the multi level marketing pitch is announced!
Dear customer, before answering we wanted to verify your testimony. We are very surprised and we think you are talking about another type of tour with another company. This tour is a cult that has never had a complaint, the tour takes place in this way: - First stop Siena, visit 2 hours - Second stop San Gimignano 1 hour approximately visit of the Borgo - Third stop visit of the winery among the most important and famous in the Chianti area. Once arrived, a visit of the estate and the cellars is made and then the customers are accommodated in the rooms designated for tasting (10 types of wine) with lunch based on local products. During the tasting you have a notepad to write down your impressions when you taste the wines to remember the sensations you feel during the tasting of the wines. At the end of the tasting meeting with the driver for the return. Our philosophy is that all customers live an experience, you did what is described in the advertisement, if you thought that what we offer in the tour was not of interest to you you could not book and avoid spending a bad day. we checked with the assistant and the workers, everyone agreed that you enjoyed the visit, the wine and were happy with the day. The Tuscany region is the land of wines par excellence, the area where Brunello is born is enclosed in the triangle between Siena, Volterra and San Gimignano, you visited this area and the Torciano estate which is located inside. in no way within the tour exists any trap that you indicated, this is "FAKE NEWS". We are a large serious and professional company, for us the customer must have maximum satisfaction. We have professional assistants and drivers whose primary objective is to satisfy the needs of customers. The other customers you had with you on the trip have left a 5-star comment thanking the assistant and the driver for the work they did. We understand that drinking 10 types of wine even if accompanied by a lunch based on local products can be difficult and cause some problems, we believe that the effect of alcohol has clouded your thoughts and we have made you write nonsense things. we cannot have the presumption of satisfying everyone but your consideration is very dubious and does not correspond to the truth.
