Vous soutenez l'une des traditions textiles les plus rares au monde – la production de soie de lotus – avec seulement quelques centaines d'artisans pratiquant cet ancien métier dans le monde. Cette entreprise sociale permet aux femmes rurales cambodgiennes de s'émanciper depuis 2003. L'expérience culmine dans une promenade paisible en bateau à travers des champs de lotus immaculés où vous photographiez la beauté naturelle qui a inspiré votre artisanat. La plupart des activités de Siem Reap offrent soit la nature OU la culture – cela offre les deux en parfaite harmonie. De petits groupes assurent un enseignement personnalisé par des maîtres artisans. Vous acquerrez de profondes connaissances culturelles au-delà des temples. Chaque création artisanale représente des compétences authentiques transmises de génération en génération. Il s'agit d'une préservation culturelle pratique que vous pouvez toucher, apprendre et ramener à la maison.

Very good welcome, in French for my part. Interesting explanations. 3 nice and not too long workshops. Then departure by golf cart to visit the lotus pond. A beautiful moment. Solo traveler but is well suited for children. Some sites offered 6 workshops
We did masterclass which was great.. Would of been good to do the boat ride first up as it was very hot and windy on boat in the arvo... The guide was great and all the craft classes were enjoyable... The only real negative is that you have to wait for a day or 2 to get your scarf and paper and go back to Maison cafe to retrieve them they don't get delivered to your hotel... And this wasn't mentioned on booking and if you were doing this on your last day in Siem reap you wouldn't be able to retrieve your goods... But everything else was amazing...

Amazing experience ! Such a beutiful community of beutiful women who do everything with love. Doing all the invents, painting the scarf, doing the thread and many more .. the river cruise- this is jut a cherry on top ! Again amazing ladies who made the most beutiful bouquet I have ever received . And must try lotus ice cream in the kichen . The restaurant has amazing view where you can have also nice Lotos tea. Must do trip if you like to do crafts .
