The early 4:30 AM start was absolutely worth it. Watching the sunrise over Angkor Wat from the bike was stunning — one of those moments you don't forget. Our guide Soun, was incredibly knowledgeable and friendly, making the history come alive throughout the tour. The trails were more challenging than I expected, but in the best way — it added a real sense of adventure to the experience. Highly recommend for anyone who wants to see Angkor differently and isn't afraid of a little workout. 10/10 would do it again
We would highly recommend this tour as an amazing way to see Angkor Wat, Angkor Thom and Ta Phrom!! Our guide Chen was outstanding, and we learned so much about Khmer history and culture. Despite the heat, the bike ride was cool and the terrain easily manageable for novice riders.

We're glad Chen was able to enhance your journey with his knowledge of Khmer history and culture. It’s great to know the bike ride was enjoyable and manageable, even in the heat. The tour was just great! Our guide Sokly led us on beautiful bike paths off the main tourist routes, so we could experience the temples in a very special atmosphere. The sunrise over Angkor was breathtaking, and the bikes were in very good condition. Sokly was extremely friendly, competent and shared a lot of exciting information. A really great experience – absolutely recommended! Many thanks to Sokly for this unforgettable tour!

Our Tour Guide Ben was a lovely young man. He was very knowledgeable about the area, the temples and hazardous areas of the biking path. He was there also very easy to chat with and we learned a lot just about a young person‘s Cambodian life. Because it was only the two of us, had already seen some temples and we are in our mid 60s, we were able to tailor the experience a bit so that we could spend more time in places we wanted to and get out of the sun when we needed to. Our driver, Mr Toch, made us feel very safe in our Tuk Tuk, was always where we needed him, and made us beautiful fresh fruit for our break. It was also very nice to be able to choose off the menu for lunch rather than one of those horrible buffet lunches with some other tour operators. All in all a long, but good day !
Thank you so much for your wonderful review! We’re so glad to hear that Ben was able to share his knowledge and that you enjoyed learning more about Cambodian life. It’s great to know that the tour was flexible enough for you to tailor the experience to your preferences, ensuring both comfort and enjoyment. We’ll be sure to pass along your kind words to Ben and Mr. Toch—they’re both valuable members of our team. We agree that having a personal lunch experience is always a highlight! We truly appreciate you taking the time to share your experience and hope to welcome you back for another adventure soon!
Chen was an amazing tour guide; really kind, funny and knowledgeable. The temples were stunning and the snacks, meals and water top-ups made me feel very looked after. The cycling was more challenging than I expected but doable and really glad I chose this tour. Would recommend Chen to anyone visiting Siem Reap.
Thank you for your kind words! We’re so happy to hear you had a great experience with Chen as your guide. He truly goes above and beyond to make each tour special, and we’re glad his kindness, humor, and knowledge made a lasting impression. It’s wonderful to know you enjoyed the stunning temples, as well as the snacks and meals that helped keep you refreshed along the way. We totally understand that the cycling can be a bit more challenging than expected, but we’re so glad you found it doable and that you’re happy you chose this adventure! Your recommendation means a lot to us, and we’ll be sure to pass along your compliments to Chen. We hope to see you again on another tour in Siem Reap or beyond!
My husband and I try to do a bike tour in almost every country we visit. However, I am not really a comfortable bike rider otherwise (we live in NYC, my husband will bike, I do not). So I really don't go biking that often. That being said, this was one of the more challenging bike experiences we've done but I still enjoyed it, would do it again, and would definitely recommend it! First, our guide Sunchen was phenomenal. He was so kind, so accommodating, and was just a pleasure to spend an entire day with. He went at a great pace, and knew so much about the sites we saw. At one point I lost my sunglasses and he went back (it was quicker for him than for me or my husband) and found them so quickly when it would've taken me so long. He was so great to speak with and we really enjoyed speaking with him about his life and experiences. The bikes are in great condition. First, he led us to a great spot for the sunrise at Angkor Wat. We actually ended up being the only two people on this tour! So it was a private tour for us, which is amazing. Either way I'm sure he could've handled a larger group. After Angkor Wat we went and had an amazing private breakfast with a private chef making omelettes, toast, fresh coffee/juice. Then we headed on our way. Most of the paths are very easy and flat. Some of it is a little more tricky but, again, I was able to manage. At one point it did start downpouring (we went during rainy season) and Sunchen was able to navigate us around the super flooded parts. We had done two days of tuktuks and not only did Sunchen skip parts we already saw so we could spend more time at newer (to us) sites, but he also took us along the back roads/bike paths that you couldn't go on tuktuk or simply walking. We saw some incredible sites we could not have seen without this tour and it was such a cool way to see everything. We met up with our driver a few times for snacks and breaks, and just had a great tour overall. If you're not horrible on a bike and not afraid to get a little dirty (and I wore white linen pants so you'll be fine!), you should absolutely do this tour.
Thank you so much for your detailed and thoughtful review! We’re thrilled to hear that you and your husband had such a memorable experience on the bike tour! It’s great to know that despite being a bit out of your comfort zone, you were still able to enjoy the adventure and would do it again. Sunchen will be so happy to hear your kind words — he truly loves sharing his knowledge of the area and making the experience special for every guest. We're glad the bikes were in good condition and that you were able to explore some hidden gems and off-the-beaten-path locations that you wouldn’t have discovered otherwise. It’s wonderful to know you felt well taken care of, even with the rainy season and the challenging paths. It sounds like it was quite an adventure! Thank you for the recommendation, and we’d love to welcome you back on another tour whenever your travels bring you back our way.
My partner and I thoroughly enjoyed the sunrise Angkor Wat bike tour with Bunvath and POV - it was a great day out and fabulous way of getting around the temple precinct. Tracks were well shaded and bikes in excellent condition. Bunvath was a wealth of insight and information during the tour. Food included with the tour was abundant and exceptional ! Highly recommend!

What a memorable day trip. We had a great tour guide called Muen. He was very knowledgeable could answer any questions and spoke great English. I am not an experienced bike rider but could handle the ride. The breakfast and lunch was great. Muen made the whole tour so much fun with his fun personality and his great photography skills. Great way to see the temples.
Thank you for sharing your experience! It’s fantastic to hear that Muen made your day trip memorable with his knowledge, English skills, and fun personality. I’m glad to know that the bike ride, even for someone less experienced, was manageable and that you enjoyed the meals. It sounds like Muen’s photography skills added an extra touch to your tour of the temples. We’re so happy you had a great time!
We got to watch the sunrise over a Ankor Wat temple before heading off to a local village for breakfast and pick up our bikes. We rode to 2 temples on bush tracks past lots of local villagers homes. The paths are sandy and a bit slippery so if you’re not confident it will be a bit of a challenge. It’s all mostly flat and the trees give you shade. Lots of break stops for water and fruit. Our guide Sambo was wonderful and very passionate about the temples we visited. The local lunch on the way home was very good quality.
What a marvelous experience you've shared with us! Watching the sunrise over Angkor Wat must have been truly breathtaking, setting the tone for an unforgettable day. Thank you for sharing your journey with us, and we hope to have the pleasure of welcoming you back for more enriching experiences in the future!
