Vous retrouverez vos nouveaux amis à quatre pattes ici dans un magnifique port situé sur les pentes d’un volcan éteint et surplombé par des collines volcaniques escarpées. Shamarra Alpacas se trouve à un peu plus d'une heure de route (73 km) de Christchurch Central et à seulement 20 minutes du village balnéaire historique d'Akaroa, qui vaut le détour pour sa culture et son architecture. Nos vues panoramiques sur le port d'Akaroa et les collines et sommets des vallées environnantes sont à couper le souffle et rendront chacun de vos selfies avec un post d'alpaga digne. Nous sommes ouverts toute l'année, le paysage change magnifiquement à chaque saison et les alpagas restent mignons tout au long. It was lovely to pet the alpacas. But there was no info on the shearing of the alpacas nor how the wool was processed. It was basically only petting the alpacas tour which was nice but would have preferred more info on the alpacas and wool processing etc. The staff is nice and there are lovely alpaca products which are nice.
Our staff would have answered your questions if you had raised them. Shearing of the Alpaca only occurs once a year and is only a small part of our yearly farm cycle which is why its not included in the tour presentation delivered at the beginning of any tour. Thanks for noticing we have friendly staff!

Fun experience to get up close and personal with alpacas. The staff was friendly and helpful. They explained what to do at each paddock.

It was fun, however one of the guide seems not really friendly and insist us to move while we still enjoying taking picture with the cute alpacas :)
Our tour times are restricted to 1 hour in duration, with approximately 45 minutes of interaction with the alpacas. It's unfortunate you didn't think that was long enough. We do hope you managed to capture some memorable photos with the cute alpacas.
Chinese guide is very careful! This tour includes parking spaces, so friends who are driving have absolutely no need to worry. Not only that, the Chinese guide will also help to take photos, not worry about not having a photo match with the lamb! Add cake and juice, without worrying about starving or thirsty. Cute and cute!

Beautiful spot, guide was so lovely and we learnt so much about the alpcas. We got to get up close with them and see all their different personalities. Great way to see the bays while cuddling some beautifully well looked after alpcas! 10/10 must do!!
