Nous passerons du temps dans la superbe vallée de Portage avec une courte promenade jusqu'au glacier Byron et nous arrêterons au Portage Glacier Lodge. Un dernier arrêt à Beluga Point pour des photos et observer Dall Sheep et d'autres animaux sauvages. Terminez avec les meilleurs spots d'Anchorage et déposez-les à votre hôtel, aéroport ou lieu de votre choix !

Itinéraire
Nous commençons notre visite par une courte visite de Seward et de ses environs. Découvrez l'histoire du tremblement de terre de 1964 et admirez l'incroyable paysage pittoresque de cette ville portuaire isolée.
Observation de la faune garantie, y compris une grande cause à soutenir. L'AWCC est l'un des endroits préférés de nos clients. Nous sommes de près et personnels avec des ours, des orignaux, des wapitis, des bœufs musqués, des loups et plus encore.
Profitez de vues panoramiques incroyables et admirez les glaciers suspendus de la vallée du Portage. Nous terminerons au lac Portage avant de nous diriger vers le glacier Byron.
Une belle et pittoresque courte promenade guidée le long du sentier du glacier Byron qui suit la rivière jusqu'au bord du glacier Byron lui-même. Ce sentier est accessible à la plupart des invités. Veuillez demander une alternative si nécessaire.
Après une journée complète d'activités, nous nous arrêtons à Girdwood pour un déjeuner optionnel dans l'un de nos restaurants locaux préférés : bonne nourriture, prix et saveurs locales (avons-nous mentionné l'incroyable chaudrée ?)
Considérée comme l'une des plus belles routes des États-Unis. Conduire de Seward à Anchorage le long du Turnagain Arm est à couper le souffle, nous nous arrêtons souvent pour des photos, des observations de la faune et si nous avons de la chance dans le timing, la marée de forage.
Beluga Point est l'une des meilleures occasions de voir des moutons Dahl sur les montagnes et, si nous avons de la chance, le Bore Tire et les bélugas à la fin de l'été.
Alors que nous nous dirigeons vers Anchorage et déposons nos invités à leurs endroits préférés, nous aimons partager un peu les points forts et les attractions de la ville et partager quelques recommandations d'autres activités et d'excellents restaurants.

The tour was a great way to see a lot of beautiful sites on the way from the ship to the airport before a red eye flight home. It maximized our last day in Alaska. Davis was fantastic as a guide! WARNING - although the tour itself was great, I would not book through viator again. They never passed our reservation onto the tour company so no one was there waiting for us and expecting us. The tour company was fantastic in sorting this out when we called them, I do not fault them at all and would use Welcome Anchorage Tours again. The issue was on viator's side and left us very disappointed.

We loved stopping to see two glaciers, and enjoyed the mile walk to get to one of them. It was interesting visiting Whittier. We loved exploring the Wildlife Center. Our tour guide was excellent and he was flexible with the schedule and activities, and he got us to the airport in great time. It was an excellent way to spend our last day in Alaska!

Sherrye was great. She showed us so many different places and explained everything. She always had an answer for all the questions. You could tell that she like what she is doing. The tour was excellent! Our guide, Davis, was very attentive and knowledgeable, and he shared lots of interesting information throughout the tour. We made several great stops along the way and were lucky enough to spot many animals. It was a wonderful experience, and we really enjoyed the tour!

We had a great experience with pickup and transportation. The scenery was spectacular. Our guide was excellent, sharing information on the natural surroundings. The hikes were beautiful. We enjoyed all the stops. And the open snack cooler was nice.

EXCELLENT!!! We will definitely use Viator again for future vacation travel destinations. Our driver and guide, Ryan, was so knowledgeable and fun. He took us on a hike to a glacier and that was one of the most amazing parts of our entire cruise vacation.
