Un des monuments les plus célèbres du monde turc et islamique, la mosquée Sultan Ahmet (également connue sous le nom de mosquée bleue) est une superbe création de style ottoman classique. La mosquée compte six minarets et 260 fenêtres illuminant sa vaste salle principale, décorée de plus de 20 000 carreaux d'Iznik.
Le plus grand et le plus ancien palais du monde, Topkapi est le joyau de l’empire ottoman. Avec son trésor et ses bâtiments exotiques surplombant la Corne d'Or, votre visite à Topkapi promet d'être une expérience véritablement fascinante. (fermé le mardi)
L'hippodrome, le stade de l'antique Byzance, pouvait accueillir 100 000 spectateurs et présenter des objets de tous les coins de l'empire. De ceux-ci, un obélisque égyptien et une sculpture en bronze de trois serpents enlacés de Delphes survivent.
En activité depuis le XIVe siècle, le Grand Bazar est l’un des plus grands marchés couverts du monde, avec 58 rues et plus de 4 000 magasins. Le bazar est spécialement connu pour ses bijoux, son cuir, ses poteries, ses épices et ses tapis. (fermé le dimanche, du temps supplémentaire sera passé aux autres endroits)

We booked a tour of Turkey with TURKLAND Travel Agency our agent Ibrahim planned out our trip that included more than we expected. He did such a fabulous job along with the tour guide that stayed with us through our entire trip. Accommodations, restaurants, transportation and even a medical situation were taken care of by them with such ease. The tour guide was absolutely wonderful taking our needs into full consideration. I can’t say enough about how great the experience was and how accomplished the guide was! We will definitely use their services again. Ibrahim from Turkland Tours exceptional efficiency meant we knew we were in good hands before we even arrived in Istanbul. Days before we arrived we received the necessary information for our airport transfer to our hotel in the city. Seamless. Our excellent guide Onur showed us around all the major city highlights and quite a few hidden gems over a couple of days. He left us with enough information to get around the city by ourselves for the next few days as well. Nothing has been a problem for either of them. Ours was a short 3 day trip to Istanbul. Mr Ibrahim made seamless arrangements from pickup from airport to sightseeing and final drop off at terminal. My grandparents were Greeks from Alatsata. I wanted to understand what their life was like in the early 20th Century. Ibrahim and Sinan arranged a special program for me to walk in my grandparents footsteps in Asia Minor. There is so much Greek history in Turkey. I’d never have found the churches without Sinan. It was very well organised. I asked to stay in traditional Greek homes and to eat local food. Our driver Murat was excellent and the vehicle was safe and very comfortable.
