Gypsy flamego show was fabulous as well as tour of Sacramonte. The only reason I rate a 4 rather than 5 is that the tapas tour needs to be more organized with reservations ahead of time so that seating can be secured. Many bars were crowded with no seating.
We did the Flamenco and Tapas in Granada, Spain with Mario. Mario met us promptly at Plaza Nuevo and asked if we'd like to the location or take a shuttle. We chose to walk. Along the way Mario spoke of the origans of Flamenco and what we were about to see. The show was in a cave and about 50 minutes long. I cannot say I would ever see another one, but it was definitely a unique experience. We then toured the neighborhood that Mario was very familiar with as he lived there. We ended at a reserved table at a tapas tavern and had food and drinks. Mario was very polite, friendly and informative the enitre evening. He even walked with us back to our hotel.
Had so much fun with Ignacio on our Flamenco and tapas tour of Granada. He made our excursion so memorable with his wit and humor. Ignacio made us so comfortable and went out of his way to show us highlights of this incredible city. Highly recommend this tour with Ignacio the show was fantastic the tapas were delicious but the best part of the tour was Ignacio.
I’ve been in Granada a few times and this experience was really the best! Meri showed our group places I’ve never seen, took us to local bars for tapas and drinks and the flamenco experience was exceptional. Meri taught our group so much about the Albaicin and Sacromonte. We all loved this tour.
Our guide Ignacio was wonderful! He knew all the great tapas spots and the flamenco show was outstanding. We ended the evening with some of the best ice cream we’ve ever had!
We worked with Mahsa to coordinate our various private tours in Granada and Seville, and could not be happier! In Granada, we did the market tour with Ramon and the flamenco tour with Ignacio. In Sevilla, we did the walking tour and the Triana tapas tour with Guille, and the catedral tour with Sara. Every one of the guides that we worked with was very professional, and provided with very intimate and personal experience. I was travelling with my parents (in the late 60s and 70s) and my husband. We all had lots of fun on these tours. We highly recommend working with Not Just a Tourist!
So it was unique ofor me because I was the only person on the excursion. The beginning was weird because we walked all the way to the event. But, things really picked up at the show. THE FLAMENCO SHOW WAS ABSOLUTELY AMAZING AND YOU NEED TO EXPERIENCE IT ONCE IN YOUR LIFE. Because it was in a cave the acoustics made you feel the passion. It was in an intimate atmosphere almost feeling you were at someones home. I have never seen real flamenco and it wasn't choreographed. My tour guide Ramon then really shined as we talked about flamenco and the daily life, soeci8the night time. We had amazing stories and shared stories. Ramon was very sensitive toy needs and what food I would like to try. We had drinks tapas and in the end I felt like I had made a good friend. Was it worth the price? Make sure you go to the flamenco show at the caves, but if you want to experience the nightlife scene and were the locals go to have drinks and tapas, I would strongly consider this show. I suggest you do what we did and go to the show and then do the tapas. It was a great time.
Amazing and very unique experience. Predrag was an amazing host. Showed us parts of town we would have never seen and was generally a very pleasant person to be around. The Flamengo show was spectacular to say the least. Amazing
An amazing night with our guide Jose. Don’t go on this tour without him. He has an intimate knowledge of the city and its history. The flamenco performance was outstanding. Not to be missed.
The tapas trail was lovable. The food was great. Jose Manuel our guide was lovable, well knowledgeable and nice to talk to. He gave us an authentic experience as he knows the people. He was able to provide better options than promised since some of the items were closed due to the Covid-19 and the curfew times. The the flamenco show was lovely. we even had the opportunity to take pictures with the dancers who were really provided lovely entertainment. It was the best tour we took in Granada.
