So much fun! Our tour guide, Liz, took the time to help us familiarize ourselves with the segways. They were well maintained and easy to use. We loved taking in the scenery while zipping through the trails. Liz shared interesting info about the flora/fauna and historical context. Would definitely do this again!
Our guide, Wyatt, was wonderful! He told us he was a new guide, but he made the tour so much fun. My wife and I ended up having a private tour (we were the only two booked) and Wyatt made the tour all about what we wanted. Beautiful grounds, excellent dive into history. Highly recommended!
Chris was an amazing guide! He was very informative, knew so much history about the island and took us on a really fun segway ride! We went through the beautiful forest, on the boardwalk in the marsh, open grassland and around a lake. Highly recommend this tour because the scenery is so pretty.

The Segway tour was a lot of fun. The instructor was through and informative. The tour was comprehensive about the land however also full of ride time. We did some great off-roading. It was a great time!!!!!
We drove 30 mins to our appointment time. We get there, no one is there. We finally called them and they tell us they had canceled it. We received no notification telling us it had been canceled. Won't ever try to use them again.

What a wonderful experience with Segway leader - Bob! Even my 15 year old daughter would like to do it again. We have never been to HHI or tried a Segway, so this was a great way to learn more about HHI and learn to ride a Segway. Great fun all around!!
BEWARE! Horrible customer service, this tour came up when searching things to do in Charleston, SC on TripAdvisor. We booked as this was our fist time visiting SC, when we were planning out our day the night before the tour we realized both this tour and another we booked were 2 hours away from Charleston. Cancellation policy is to cancel 24 hours prior to tour for both tours, we immediately contacted both tours that night as soon as we realized. The other company super nice, helpful accommodating and refunded the trip on the first contact with them. This company however, decided $190 would be worth a bad customer review and taking tourist who were unaware of the area for their money….furthermore they responded through TripAdvisor basically calling us liars. I would save your money and book with a company who has higher standards and exhibits true southern hospitality.

When we received your cancellation request through TripAdvisor, as you booked the tour through their website, it was less than 24 hours' notice, which is their policy. When you contacted our company, we advised you of the policy as well, but advised that we would look into the cancellation. We verified that there are no Segway Tours shown on the Trip Advisor website for Charleston, SC. Because we limit the number of guests on our tours, we have a cancellation policy as we turn down guests based on the number of guests booked. Based on the cancellation policy and that no Segway Tours were shown as indicated above, we were unable to offer a refund.
This Segway experience was fabulous! My mom and I went for the first time ever and our guide, Chris, did a phenomenal job! He was an excellent instructor, very knowledgeable and covered a lot of area with us. We even ventured over to Jarvis Creek Park and saw some alligators. He was incredibly safe the entire time. We loved this and absolutely recommend the tour!
