HEURE DE DÉPART : : 9 h 30 Embarquez pour une escapade captivante en soirée à Ségovie, joyau médiéval classé au patrimoine mondial de l'UNESCO. De Madrid, un trajet confortable en bus vous emmènera dans cette ville enchanteresse pour une visite guidée de son centre historique.
ARRIVÉE À SÉGOVIE : 10 h 45 environ L'aventure commence à l'impressionnant aqueduc romain, un chef-d'œuvre d'ingénierie qui existe depuis près de deux millénaires. En vous promenant dans les rues étroites de l'ancien quartier juif, vous rencontrerez l'unique Maison des Pics et l'église romane de San Martin, chacune racontant un riche passé multiculturel
FACULTATIF : Promenez-vous dans les rues pavées du centre historique, menant à la vibrante Plaza Mayor, le cœur battant de la vie ségovienne. Ici, vous serez émerveillé par l'extérieur de la majestueuse cathédrale gothique (entrée facultative), la dernière du genre construite en Espagne.
La visite culmine avec une vue sur l'Alcazar, une forteresse qui servait autrefois de résidence royale et domine maintenant le paysage urbain. (ENTRÉE NON INCLUSE) Cette expérience vous plongera dans la riche histoire et la beauté architecturale de Ségovie, offrant un mélange parfait de culture, d'art et de charme médiéval
TEMPS LIBRE : Temps libre pour le déjeuner : Profitez de temps libre pour savourer la cuisine locale en option, avec la possibilité de goûter le célèbre cochon de lait ségovien dans un restaurant traditionnel.
LIEU DE RENDEZ-VOUS : Rendez-vous au point de rendez-vous désigné à l’heure convenue avec votre Guide pour continuer jusqu’à Avila.
Avila, la ville des murs. Guidés par notre Expert, nous explorerons le centre historique, émerveillés par les extérieurs de la place Mercado Chico, la basilique San Vicente, le palais Velada et la cathédrale d'Ávila. Le point culminant est l'impressionnant mur d'Ávila, une structure défensive médiévale parfaitement préservée de 2 kilomètres de long offrant une vue panoramique à couper le souffle Retour à Madrid : Alors que notre aventure se termine, nous reviendrons à Madrid en bus, remplis de souvenirs inoubliables de notre excursion d'une journée.

Day tour to Segovia and Avila from Madrid. This was a wonderful way to see too of Spain's classic sites in a day out of Madrid. I was pleasantly surprised that the giant bus was not full. Our guide, Pilar, was extremely knowledgeable, delightfully casual and I greatly admired her fluency switching back and forth between Spanish and English.

This was such a lovely day trip, the journey was pleasant and there was a little history along the way. Segovia is stunning, the tour guide gave clear instructions both in Spanish and English. There were plenty of photo opportunities and also free time to explore. The stop at Avila seemed short but I felt like we toured the best part. It would have been nice to have a little more time and information here. Otherwise highly recommended!!

An easy way to see two great cities without having to worry about anything yourself. The 9 hours went faster than we thought. The bus left and arrived exactly on time. There was enough time to see the essential sights and have some free time.

Overall a good experience tour guide ( Maria ) could have been better she didn’t seem to interact with her party very much and wasnt very approachable or explain things very well. I would recommend that people do not book the tour with tickets included, we only spent 10 minutes on the wall in Ávila as she took us to the smallest part of the walk. So don’t think you are going to be able to walk the whole wall approximately 2 miles as there is not enough time allowed to do so on this particular trip.

The tour is totally recommended. It left on time, a very comfortable bus, a very friendly guide who narrated all the historical details very well. We did not take the package with food included; however, considering the prices on site, the value is completely reasonable.
