Le puits a 51 m de profondeur, 3 m de diamètre et deux escaliers en colimaçon qui se connectent à une profondeur d'environ 35 mètres pour former une forme semblable à celle de l'ADN. Alfred Hitchcock a visité le puits en 1964 et a déclaré qu'un environnement comme celui-là était toujours un régal pour lui. Guided tour of about 3 hours starting from the center Piazza della Repubblica and arriving towards the castle where you can visit the undergrounds used over the centuries for various destinations. The guide Mihailo very nice and a little 'whimsical takes very much to heart the description in accessible English and seems almost a skilled actor. At the end the tour ends in a cellar where you drink free excellent Balkan wine and make friends with the others in the group. Highly recommended visit
