Her personal relationship to many of the vendors made the tour feel intimate. This is a tour in which we discovered people, places, foods and areas that would’ve gone unseen and undiscovered. A very different side of Naples well worth exploring.

Stefania is the best tour guide I've met (I have taken over 30 tours). I highly recommend this authentic back-streets tour during which you meet the local folks who are carrying on culinary traditions from generations before. Of course, it's a treat to taste the products they are making. Stefania has a fabulous raport with the people we visited so they enthusiastically tell their stories. This is not just a tasting tour, it is a history and cultural tour of traditional food producers.

This food and history tour was fantastic!! Sonia was our guide and she knew an extraordinary amount of history about Italy in general and Naples in particular. Her food knowledge was impressive and she delivered all of her information in a joyful, enthusiastic manner. We learned so much and experienced very unique old family businesses while enjoying phenomenal food. You MUST come hungry because you will be stuffed by the end!! Truly one of the top foods tours we have ever taken (>15). When we arrived in Naples the day before I feared we had made a mistake. It was gritty, dirty and chaotic. Stefani showed us how people lived and worked, the history and the charm. I was smitten. The food was delicious and unique. She highlighted local family businesses and we had an opportunity to chat with the proprietors. We came away with an appreciation for how food and life are interconnected. Needless to say she opened my eyes (and mouth) to the charm of Naples. The next few days in the city were so much richer because of her!

Serena is a very kind, knowledgeable and welcoming person and guide. The food on her tour was outstanding. Everything we tried, we loved! We got a taste of local life and went places with Serena that we would never have seen on our own as tourists. It was so fun going around her hometown with her. We met some very nice locals while on the tour which made it even more enjoyable! Serena explained historical and architectural details and helped us understand the city and culture better. The tour was the perfect length of time and she gave us many suggestions for things to see and do later on. We feel the tour was a good price and are very happy with our experience!!!
