I loved this tour! James is a wonderful guide, he’s very knowledgeable, friendly, and generally a good hang. I learned so much about Seattle, beer, and the Seattle beer scene. Would definitely recommend.

Great Beer Tour! I’ve been on several and this one was great. James knows his beer and does a great job explaining types of beer and brewing techniques. This is an easy walk as there are lots of breweries in this area. I think we went to 5 breweries. James is also a great Seattle historian, highly recommend! Thanks

This was such a great way to learn about some of the many breweries in Seattle, specifically the ones in the Ballard area. We went to seven different breweries. Our tour guide was very knowledgeable and took us to a variety of breweries. I don’t love beer (this was a birthday gift for my partner who loves beer), so our guide made sure to get cider or other options for me. We were the only two on the tour, so we enjoyed having a private tour with a lot of information and yummy tastings. It was a beautiful night in Seattle and a fun way to learn about local breweries. Highly recommend this tour!

James was an excellent guide. He discussed the history of some of the breweries, described the history of the region, and talked about the beer making process and why there are different flavours with the combination of the same ingredients. He’s very informed, and incredibly personable.

We had a great time meeting James and visiting five of the many craft breweries in Ballard. He is incredibly knowledgeable about the area, its history, and each local brewery and its offerings. My wife prefers cider to beer, so James made sure to take us to a number of breweries that also featured local ciders, which was much appreciated!
What's great about the Ballard Brewery district is that there are so many options, it makes it easy to find something for everyone. It was fun meeting the two of you - thanks for the review!
