Une route pittoresque le long du bras Turnagain de Cook Inlet vous offrira des vues à couper le souffle tout en vous dirigeant vers l'une des meilleures attractions du centre-sud de l'Alaska : le centre de conservation de la faune de l'Alaska ! Nous vous guiderons à travers cette réserve faunique tout en partageant sur les animaux sauvages blessés et orphelins dont ils ont la garde ; vous aurez également du temps libre pour vous promener seul. Ce voyage dure environ une heure dans chaque sens jusqu'au centre de la faune et environ 1,5 à 2 heures au centre lui-même, totalisant une visite éducative de 4 heures avec des paysages spectaculaires tout au long du trajet !

Itinéraire
Nous longerons le bras Turnagain de Cook Inlet le long de la magnifique Seward Highway ; nous ferons un arrêt photo spécial.
Nous passerons par Beluga Point sur Cook Inlet où nous observerons les bélugas et les mouflons de Dall (si le bon moment de la saison) et profiterons de vues spectaculaires sur l'océan et les montagnes. Si le temps le permet, nous ferons un arrêt.
Nous traversons cette célèbre crique de pêche et, si le moment est propice, nous verrons peut-être des pêcheurs alignés le long des rives dans l'espoir d'attraper du saumon argenté.
Si le temps le permet, nous pourrions apercevoir des glaciers de vallée suspendus au sommet des montagnes lors de notre route au bout du Turnagain Arm !
Notre attraction principale est l'incroyable réserve faunique à but non lucratif qui a été réhabilitée et a fourni un foyer permanent à certains animaux sauvages de l'Alaska blessés et orphelins. Nous passerons environ plus d'une heure et demie au centre. La moitié sera guidée et l'autre moitié sera du temps libre pour explorer par vous-même.

Alex was our tour guide. She made this tour so special with her vast knowledge, enthusiasm and truly loving what she does. I learned so much as she was driving to our destination and back and of course at the Wildlife center. I purchased a piece of Musk Ox jewelry at a shop in Anchorage she had referenced, as I knew so little about this animal and the humane way the fur is collected. Alex had a great sense of humor when my husband was bet he wouldn’t put his foot in the cold water at one of our lovely stops, pic below. Thank you Alex for making this tour so memorable for our family.
opportunity to see moose, reindeer, brown and black bears, porcupine, wolf, bison, yak, close up in this nature conservatory. It was wonderful to see just how large the brown bears really are. Alex was very nice and very knowledgeable about all the animals
Alaska Wildlife Conservation Center Tour! David was absolutely amazing! From beginning to end, he made our tour such a wonderful and memorable experience. He was incredibly knowledgeable, personable, patient, and genuinely passionate about Alaska and everything he was showing us. What really stood out was how much David cared about making sure everyone had a great experience. He shared so many interesting stories and facts, answered all of our questions, and never made us feel rushed. It was a wonderful experience being able to visit this wild animal park. Our driver and tour guide Alex was fantastic! A great personality and an amazing knowledge of not only this park but Alaska in general. She made the 1 hr drive to and from this park so ennoyable and fun.

Great excursion . the ride to the animals was awesome. It really helped to have someone to guide us through the animal preservation site. It is very large and Alex navigated us very well through to see the animals up close . they seemed well taken care of and content . we enjoyed our tour with Alex. She was fun and full of information. I really appreciated that even though the group was only 2 of us that day they did not cancel our trip. We are very glad we took this trip and the drive is very famous and one of the best drives in North America. I think if we had tried to do this on our own we would have missed a lot. Be sure to come layered for all types of weather. As in Alaska it can change in a minute. the van was very comfortable. thank you Alex for a great morning .
We took the Wildlife Tour and our guide was David, the owner of Frontier Tours. He was very personable and knowledgeable. The Wildlife Center was very interesting. On the road back to Anchorage, we were stopped due to a fatal accident which meant no way to return to Anchorage for hours. He turned the fan around and headed us back the way we’d come and took us to several really cool places. He turned what could have been a long wait in a non-moving line into a fun adventure. If you are in Anchorage, this is the tour company you want to use,
