Description
Faites une pause dans la dégustation de vin et rendez-vous à Sainte-Hélène pour une visite guidée à vélo électrique le long de la Napa Valley Vine Trail (piste cyclable sans voiture). Votre groupe sera dirigé par un Guide local compétent. La visite couvre 16 miles (de Sainte-Hélène à Calistoga, et retour) avec des pauses en cours de route pour admirer la vue, prendre des photos et en apprendre davantage sur l'histoire de Napa. L'itinéraire est généralement plat à légèrement vallonné. Et n’oubliez pas : vous aurez trois niveaux d’assistance à la pédale E-Bike à portée de main ! En arrivant à Calistoga, le milieu de la visite, vous aurez une heure de temps libre pour explorer la ville ou déjeuner par vous-même. Ou, si vous voulez continuer à faire du vélo, votre Guide touristique peut vous emmener sur une extension de promenade optionnelle le long d'une route pittoresque de l'arrière-pays, ajoutant jusqu'à 8 miles (24 miles au total pour la journée). Les enfants âgés de 12 ans et plus sont les bienvenus avec un adulte accompagnant.

Aucune visite de Napa Valley n'est complète sans un arrêt à l'emblématique panneau "Welcome to Napa Valley". Votre groupe fera une pause ici pour prendre des photos et profiter de la vue sur les vignobles.
Une partie de la piste cyclable passe par le parc d'État Bothe-Napa, qui abrite les séquoias côtiers les plus éloignés de l'intérieur.
Profitez d'une heure de temps libre pour explorer la ville de Calistoga par vous-même. Flânez et explorez les boutiques le long de la rue principale ou prenez le déjeuner ou le café. Ou, prévenez votre Guide touristique si vous souhaitez continuer à rouler et qu'il pourra vous emmener sur une extension optionnelle allant jusqu'à 8 miles. Après une heure, le groupe de visite se réunira à nouveau pour la randonnée à vélo retournant à Charles Krug.

Jordan was excellent in showing us some sites and allowing for flexibility. We finished our “ride” by ourselves once we saw how easy the trail and area were to navigate.

The description on Viator states you travel down a no car allowed road. That is not true. You are on a paved walking/ bike path along the main road. You can save yourself the money and just walk on The paved path through the vineyards. . My tour guide mark gave us NO opportunities to take photos. He made it clear he was an avid bicyclist and runner and he treated this tour as if we were biking in a race to Calistoga. He only talked to and gave attention to one person in the group and he never looked back to check on the rest of us. Worst tour guide I have ever experienced with Viator.

For the benefit of future guests, we'd like to clarify that this tour follows the Napa Valley Vine Trail—a dedicated paved bike and pedestrian path that is separated from vehicle traffic. Fifteen private landowners cooperated with easements to allow for the construction of this path through private vineyards. We're sorry to hear you felt the pace was too fast and that you didn't have enough opportunities for photos. Our guides are instructed to ride at a comfortable pace for the group, regularly check on guests, and make multiple stops along the route for scenic viewpoints, photos, and local interpretation. While experiences and expectations can vary, what you described is not the standard experience we strive to provide. We are two seniors who have never ridden an e-bike before. But we had a very enjoyable 4 hours touring the wine country. Michelle was our guide and was very patient in teaching us, as well as quite knowledgeable. It was actually very easy, and we caught on quickly. The electric assist was great when we came to the hills. We loved being out in nature on a beautiful day, hearing the birds sing, and not having to be concerned about traffic since we were on a private trail. Michele took our picture at various photo stops, including the iconic Napa Valley sign. We had a delightful lunch in the quaint town of Calistoga. We'd highly recommend this tour.

We had such a good time riding e-bike on Napa Vine Trail! E-biking was so easy, I felt like I was in my teens again ;-) Our guide, Don was super nice. We would do this again when we visit Napa next.

Wow! This was an amazing way to explore Napa as a Family.The electric bikes were easy to ride as we enjoyed the valley scenery and went through the wineries . Our guide Don was professional and patient. I am just 4’11” and he was able to find a bike that worked with my height. We visited the charming town of Calistoga to take a break. It was a perfect day .

Mark was great. Gave us an I formative ride from Charles Krug to Calistoga and we got to run around Calistoga for about 1 1/2. Well worth the investment. Biking trail was great and we had a great time. Thanks!
My husband and I did the half day wine trail e-bike tour 2 days ago and we enjoyed it immensely!! If you’re undecided, just do it. You’ll be so glad you did. I was a bit anxious as I’ve never been on an e-bike before and it was absolutely fine. Our guide Don was fabulous!! He was very knowledgeable of the area and super friendly and accommodating. The scenery along the trail is beautiful and it makes the ride so worth it. At the end of our ride we had a delicious picnic and did some wine tasting at Charles Krug winery. It was the perfect end to a great afternoon!
