Very interesting and informative to learn more about Ketchikans native culture
Caleb was fantastic! Explained everything really well and always offered to ask any questions.
It was wonderful! Our guide, Paul, was amazing and knowledgable. He let us take our time looking at the totems and gave us great history of this amazing area.
My original review was erased 😭 sad day. Sheryl is the highlight of this tour. She truly is a gem. She's very knowledgeable about the area and about the history of the totems. We were able to meet Nathan, a master woodworker, who has been carving wood for 60 years. The totems are beautiful and the stories behind them are must hears. It is cool to know a little more about what the figures and animals on totems mean. The local natives put on such a great show about their history. Such a great show and way to honor their culture while informing future generations.
Wonderful tour wish we hadn't been so rushed. Very informative and would recommend. The meeting place was pretty chaotic. Staff was otherwise Wonderful! Driver was great. Tour guide at Saxman Village was terrific!
Liam was an amazing and fun guide.
Tour guide was very knowledgeable. Loved the totem stories
We did not make this tour as Viator gave us the wrong start time. This was not the fault of the tour operator as Viator admitted they had received the notification of the change of time and did not update the system

This was an engaging cultural experience. From the guide, Shelly, to the Klinkit people who performed, to the employees who explained the cuisine it was a great learning experience. It was an honor to spend time learning about the indigenous people of Alaska.
