Ce quartier est le centre culturel de la ville, avec le théâtre de la savane et le site du célèbre banc du parc de Forrest Gump.
C'est le « virage sud » du parcours, mettant en valeur l'emblématique fontaine blanche et les grands manoirs de l'époque victorienne qui bordent le périmètre du parc.
Passez par Monterey Square. Cette zone est célèbre pour sa canopée luxuriante et son lien avec le livre Minuit dans le jardin du bien et du mal.
En traversant vers Abercorn Street, vous atteindrez la flèche la plus étonnante de la ville. L'architecture gothique Française offre ici un contraste spectaculaire avec les maisons environnantes de style colonial.
En se dirigeant vers la limite nord du quartier (près de Reynolds Square), vous voyez les plus anciennes structures debout. La maison rose et l'hôtel Planters mettent en valeur le charme de brique et de stuc de la fin des années 1700.
Présente une rare ferronnerie et des passages en briques à plusieurs niveaux qui reflètent l'histoire du commerce du coton de Savannah. Offre un point de vue qui saisit à la fois les entrepôts historiques et les modernes
Surplombant la rivière Savannah. Vous verrez le dôme d'or de Savannah City et regarderez en bas les pavés historiques où les "facteurs" de coton ont autrefois échangé.
La dernière étape vous emmène à travers le centre commercial extérieur animé de 4 blocs de City Market. De là, c'est un court trajet en voiture direct pour revenir au centre d'accueil

For starters, the van did NOT look like that. It was white and older. Some of use thought we were going to be on a colorful bus while others thought they would be on a golf cart looking vehicle. It should be noted that the form of transportation may change based on numbers. The tour guide was very nice and funny, but he needed a microphone. For the cost, I would expect better. I used my Viator points, so my out-of-pocket cost was very low.

This was a great experience for us as the tour made everything in the city meaningful. The admission fee is fair and the tour gave us good value for our money. The length of the tour was good at 1 hour 45 mins which gave us ample time to visit many historical and important parts of the city. Our tour guide Mike was excellent. The atmosphere was excellent and we were not over crowded in the bus . However there is need for a clear description and easy location of the pick up zone, the only frustrating part of our tour.

Very informational and quite a bit of comedic relief. We really enjoyed our tour! We couldn’t go up close to the stadium but the full time was filled and we learned a lot!
