From silence to a thunderous roar! 🐅✨ Meet ST-21 (Yuvraaj), the majestic 5-year-old tiger ruling Zone 1 of Sariska Tiger Reserve. We were there on March26 and what a great sighting of this magnificent tiger. Thanks to our guide Ajay Kumar(+91 97841 73355) In 2008, Sariska had zero tigers. Today, the forest echoes with life — home to around 50 wild tigers and growing cubs. Known for his bone-chilling roars that shake the Aravallis, ST-21 confidently marks his territory and commands respect. His story is a powerful symbol of nature’s comeback. 🌿 Witness this roaring legend in the wild!
We booked this JEEP Safari tour some 7 months ago and on the evening before the tour we got a phone call to say the JEEPS were booked and the only choice was a Canter, not best pleased considering how far in advance we booked. On the day of the tour, driver pick up indicated was 11.30am from hotel, the night before we were told it was 11.00am, then on the morning the driver was messaging us in hotel at 10.00am saying he was there. Sariska was a 3 hour drive from the hotel which was an experience in itself. When booked, it indicated that tour was 2.30pm - 6.00pm but by the time we actually entered it was 3.00pm and we were done by 5.30pm. No sightings of any tigers which wasn't a huge surprise, but saw a few deer, water buffalo, birds etc.. but it would have been nice if the driver & spotter relayed commentary in English as well but that didn't happen. The main highlight of the day was our excellent driver whose name we think was Rambo, he got us there and back in one piece which was quite a feat. So overall a pretty disappointing long day.
As there are only 50 Tigers in the reserve we accept the chance of seeing one is limited. Or your guide gave great details of the animals and Verizon we saw. Very informative and recommend taking the tour. Facts to be aware of. The jeep has 6 sets. If they are not ask booked, you share the cost of the empty seat. There are 2 gates into the reserve. The northern gate is the main one used but I booked accommodation at the southern gate. Had major challenges getting out tickets adjusted.
Sariska Tiger Reserve is a really nice place if you love nature and want a break from city life. The jungle is peaceful, green, and full of animals – I saw deer, peacocks, monkeys, and lots of birds. Tiger sighting is not guaranteed, but that’s the fun of a safari, you never know what you’ll see. What I liked most is that inside the reserve you also find old temples and even a fort, which makes the trip more interesting. The jeep safari was comfortable, though weekends can get a bit crowded. If you are around Alwar or Jaipur, this is a great spot for a day trip. Go early in the morning for the best experience.
Thank you for your valuable feedback.
One of the best day tour Visiting Sariska Tiger Reserve in India. Great place to visit once, saw many animals including birds. Good to saw leopard twice. Thanks team TF Holidays for making this tour wonderful. Thanks 👍
Thank you for your valuable feedback.
Amazing safari tour. Saw many animals, great to explore the place, safari tour was good and interesting. Saw one tiger 🐯 going around but couldn't capture it bcz he was so fast. Loved the safari tour. Worth it
Thank you for your valuable feedback.
It's a beautiful safari. There are too many tigers but only a few roam around in the area where visitors are allowed. Safari has to be booked, preferably online, prior to your visit but if one can not book (because it shows full sometimes), can be booked on the spot too. One guide accompanies every jeep along with the driver. Their eyes are too sharp and they can locate animals/ birds immediately. We were not lucky to see tiger or leopard but we saw plenty of peacocks and peahens (may be 200-300) some new birds, tiny owls, sabar deers, nilgay and footsteps of tigers passing from the route. Advised to take early morning safari only. It's very cold these days so should have proper woolens. Not to be missed...
Thank you for your valuable feedback.
Enjoyable experience despite no tiger sighting. Loads of other birds and animals to view making it worth the visit. .
Thank you for your valuable feedback!
Great service for booking. Although it says it’s private you’ll probably be with a few more people but it’s still small. In addition, you’ll probably be with educated English speaking Indians who can help translate in some instances. TF Holidays was easy to book. We stayed at Trees N Tigers resort near Alwar but they still picked us up and drove to the Sariska gate (about 20 minutes) where the guide was waiting. We saw two tigers which is rare and many different animals. TF Holidays does an amazing job of organizing with payments via credit card and PayPal.
Thank you for your valuable feedback 🙏
The service was great. On time. Very kind. Help us all the way with the ticket . We would like to thank for everything. Thank you
