Beautiful wineries. Friendly people and amazing wine and views. Worth doing! Maria our tour guide was so lovely!!
Loved the tour with Maria! She was so helpful and kind and Stephen was a great driver! Most of the wines were sweet so not our taste, but the tour was wonderful!!
Thank you for your feedback! We’re delighted to hear you loved the tour with Maria and that Stephen provided a great driving experience. It’s also helpful to know your thoughts on the wine selection, and we’re glad you still enjoyed the overall tour. We truly appreciate your kind words and hope to welcome you again soon!
Not value for money The guide Maria was nice but the bus pick up wasn’t great and it was not good value for money.
Thank you for your feedback. We’re glad to hear Maria was kind, but we’re sorry the pickup experience and overall value for money did not meet your expectations. Your comments are noted and will be shared with our team for review. We appreciate you taking the time to share your thoughts.
Really close collection point from our hotel. Friendly minibus driver. Our group was super small - 7 of us in total, so it felt like an intimate experience. Our host for the entire tour was Maria, she was incredible! Maria is so friendly and really knowledgable about the whole island and wine making industry on Santorini. Couldn’t have asked for anything more from a host - Maria even knew the best places to take photos, so that we could savour the memories. The wine tour itself was brilliant - we visited 3 places, a family run vineyard, a wine museum and a more industrial wine vineyard. At each vineyard, we learnt about their history of wine making, before the tasting session at each taster, we had a private table set out with nibbles which paired with every wine. There was a wine expert who explained the history of each wine we tasted and what food to pair each wine with. There was of course the opportunity to purchase each wine we tried. Overall 10/10 experience and would recommend to anybody!!
Thank you for your feedback! We’re delighted to hear you enjoyed the wine tour and that Maria made the experience so special with her knowledge and friendly guidance. It’s great to know you appreciated the variety of wineries, the tastings, and the intimate group setting. We truly appreciate your 10/10 recommendation and hope to welcome you again soon!
Guide was very knowledgeable and personable. Excellent tour of black sand beach, historical dig site, walk through Pygros, and ended at Art Space winery. Very enjoyable afternoon. Highly recommend it.
Thank you so much for your kind words and for sharing your experience with us! We're delighted to hear you enjoyed the tour.
Nice experience with excellent transportation! It’s worth it! First stop – Roussos Winery Step into history at the oldest winery in Santorini. There, the lovely Agapi will guide you through the secrets of Santorini wine, answering all your questions with passion and knowledge. You’ll enjoy a tasting of three distinctive wines, each carrying the island’s tradition in every sip. 🍷 Second stop – Koutsoyannopoulos Winery & Wine Museum An unforgettable journey awaits you 8 meters underground, in a 300-meter labyrinth museum – the only one of its kind in Greece! Walk through the story of wine with life-sized figures showing the process from the vineyard to the bottle. Afterwards, indulge in a tasting of four exceptional wines that reflect the island’s rich heritage. 🌅 Final stop – Venetsanos Winery Famous for its breathtaking panoramic views over the caldera, Venetsanos is the perfect finale. There the guide will share fascinating stories and hidden gems about Santorini before you descend to enjoy a tasting of three carefully selected wines. The view, the wine, and the stories will create a memory you’ll never forget. ✨ This is more than just a wine tour – it’s a journey into the heart of Santorini, its history, flavors, and breathtaking landscapes!

We hope to welcome you back again in the future for another unforgettable experience!
We have been on numerous wine tasting/ tours in different countries around the world but our experience yesterday afternoon (2nd October) was by far the worst for a variety of reasons. Firstly, the driver arrived 15 minutes late (we accept it could have been because of traffic problems) but when he arrived we stood outside the bus for around 2 minutes before he opened the doors. We asked him 3 times if that was the wine tasting bus but he did not answer us until we were well underway. On the journey to his second pick up, the driver was having a heated/ animated argument with someone on his phone and his driving was quite inconsistent. Arriving at the second pick up he continued his conversation, leaving the Belgian couple waiting outside the bus for around 3 minutes. Both for them and for us, when we got on the bus, we asked if this was the wine tasting tour and he kept talking on the phone, answering us when we were already underway. Finally, he dropped us in the car park of Venetsanos winery saying that another bus load of people would be joining us. We waited almost 30 minutes for that bus to arrive whilst he continued his conversation on the bus. When the other bus arrived we mentioned our concerns to the group leader but she just said that it was the end of the season, the driver was probably tired and we should just accept the situation and enjoy the tour. Turning to the tour itself, Venetsanos was excellent for the people, quality of wine, presentation and snacks. The second winery, Koutsogiannopoulos was also good but the nibbles were a few crisps and bread rusks with a small slice of cheese, nothing like the appetizers that had been advertised. The final winery, Roussos, gave miniscule measures of wine which all the people in the group said were inadequate for tasting to be experienced properly and again the nibbles were poor. The group consisted visitors from England, USA, Belgium and Australia and it was quite clear that everyone felt we had been short changed and in our case (by the driver), badly treated. In our view, this tour was worth possibly 40 euros per person, not the 108 per person that we had been charged.
Thank you for taking the time to share your experience. We're truly sorry to hear that your tour did not meet your expectations, and we appreciate the opportunity to respond to the concerns you've raised. We sincerely apologise for the driver’s delayed arrival and especially for the lack of communication and professionalism you experienced. This is far from the standard we aim to provide. We are already investigating this incident and addressing it directly with the transport department to ensure this does not happen again. Respectful, clear communication is essential, and we regret that this was not shown to you or the other guests on the day. According to our GPS logs, the vehicle was delayed by 10 minutes, which, as you rightly mentioned, can be due to traffic conditions. At the first stop, your pick-up, the bus was stationary for approximately 40 seconds before boarding, and at the second pick-up point, the stop lasted 1 minute. While these may seem brief, we understand how important clear communication is during initial interactions, and we regret that the driver did not provide a proper welcome or reassurance at those moments. Regarding the timing at Venetsanos Winery, our records confirm that you arrived at 16:00, and the rest of the group arrived at 16:22, which is when the full group came together. During this brief waiting period, we understand it may have felt unclear what was happening, and we apologise that this wasn’t better communicated. As for your interaction with the guide, her intention was, to help you enjoy the remainder of the experience and not escalate the situation further. We’re sorry if this came across as dismissive — that was certainly not the intention. We are glad to hear you appreciated the atmosphere and wine quality at Venetsanos, and we take note of your feedback regarding the appetizers and wine portions we’re sorry to hear that your visit to Roussos Winery and Aroma Avlis did not meet expectations in terms of wine quantities and the quality of the appetizers. We truly regret that you left feeling disappointed and that the experience did not reflect the price paid. Thank you again for helping us improve.
