Learning some of Santorinis history, pistachio trees and the oldest church in Santorini. Seeing the whole Santorini on top of Pyrgos and old village. Most of all, doing all this with my 20 year old and she had a blast, partly because of Tanya! Thank you Tanya and Stephanus.
Dear Salife, Thank you for your fantastic review and for taking the time to share your experience with us. The view from the top of Pyrgos and the old village is indeed breathtaking. It's wonderful to know that your 20-year-old had a blast during the excursion. Providing enjoyable experiences for families is one of our top priorities, and we're thrilled to hear that we achieved that for you. Thank you once again for your kind words. We look forward to welcoming you and your family on another adventure soon!
Tour was ok , the only claim is that when we arrived at 8.00 pm to Santorini the guide told us they had to leave in the Tour office and not in the meeting point as per booked because the bus could not enter on this area, so we had to walk more than 1 km with high winds and cold temperature seeing other tourist buses crossing on the way.?????
Dear Ramone, Thank you for sharing your feedback with us. We are delighted that you enjoyed the tour. However, we apologize for the inconvenience you experienced during your return trip when the bus could not reach your hotel. Ensuring our guests' satisfaction is our top priority, so we promptly looked into the issue. The disruption was caused by the Good Friday procession, a significant event in Greece, which unfortunately coincided with your return time. We regret that the driver did not fully explain the situation to you. Thank you once again for your feedback. We hope this incident will not deter you from booking with us in the future.
Nice villages to pass by, the tour guide was very well trained and explain everything, the sunset is amazing but be on the sunset boulevard 1-2h before and if you can,go to a terrace (but they are very expensive)
Dear Dumitriu, We are thrilled to hear that you had a wonderful time on our tour. Thank you for your compliments and your constructive feedback. We always aim to offer the best service and experience for our guests, and we value your input on how to make it even better. We are happy that you got to witness the stunning sunset in Santorini, which is one of the most iconic sights in Greece. We hope to welcome you back soon.
’ve been to Santorini ten times and I’ve had wonderful experiences with hotels, trips, tours, shops, wineries, ferries, restaurants, car rentals and people! II booked several things through the Viator app with great success, but a tour I booked with Cretan Holidays tours was a very bad experience. Please avoid booking with them and save yourself the trouble! They never picked me up for the tour I booked and even after contacting them they made no attempt to help, pick me up, credit or refund the tour. I wouldn’t want this to happen to someone else. Their tour on the Viator app was called “Santorini Traditional Villages and Oia Sunset Tour.” I don’t recommend. On the other hand a tour I booked with Luxury travel was fantastic!
Dear Jill, Thank you for taking the time to share your feedback with us. We are really sorry about the problem you had with your pick up of our excursion. For us at Cretan Holidays, it is very important for our guests to have the best possible experience without problems and stress. That's why we checked what happened in your case. The driver had informed us that he had arrived at the pick up point 5 minutes earlier and that he could not find you, furthermore the message we received from you that you could not find the bus was half an hour after the pickup time, if you had called us a little earlier we could have told the driver to come back and pick you up. However we tried to suggest you to make another excursion without additional charge the next day but we did not receive any response from you. For once again we are really sorry that you didn't have the chance to join our excursion. We hope to see you again soon in order to have a different opinion for our services. Thank you,
Came on a Marella cruise tour, Kia is a beautiful place but get there early or late it gets packed, there are people everywhere trying to get the best photos, however it is worth it this place is stunning, but expensive, come and see although it is not really for the less mobile
Dear Pesue, Thank you for your excellent review. It is true that Santorini is an amazing place and we love it when our guest have such a nice experience. Hope to see you again soon!
The tour is off beaten trucks, our guide Tanja is the best! Very deep knowledge of history of the region, traditions and culture of Santorini, she was. brilliant! Now about the description of the tour on Viator.com site- it is simply not true and very misleading! First of all this is a bus tour, not a small group minivan tour! Secondary- the tour is NOT SUITABLE FOR PEOPLE USING A STROLLER!!!!! Not at all!!! The website says it is suitable! We were in a deep trouble and only could manage the trip with the help from the people of the group , Tanja and our drivers! And I want to say a big big thank you to them all!
Dear sovnatash, Thank you very much for your valuable feedback, We are very glad that you were pleased with the guide and the driver of the tour. We always aim for the best quality for our guests. Regarding the problem you had with the stoller this was the first time anyone has complained about this. Maybe it was a problem because of the many parked vehicles . However, we have changed the description of the tour and it no longer appears that it is suitable for guests with a stroller. We hope to see you again soon. Thank you,
I booked this tour to see a it more of Santorini and as a means to get to Oia. The tour was well organised. Bus driver was great and Anna our guide was informative and very thoughtful preparing the group as to what to expect and do/not to do. Basically the tour is a short visit to a Byzantine church which was very pretty, a visit to the village which was wrecked in the 1956 earthquake, a climb to the top at Pyros and then to Oia where you spend most of your time and see the sunset. I had time to take photos, enjoy a meal overlooking the water and make it to a point to wait for the sunset 40 mins before. Be warned it is crazy crowded. I saw the sun almost set but when the tidal wave of people came I made my way back to the bus. By the way you can see the sunset from near the bus parking lot! We were delayed leaving by half an hour as another bus from the tour company was late to pick up people going to another destination. I was impressed with the driver and guide. They took others on our bus and made sure the other group's bus arrived before we left so everyone got back to departure points. Well done Kamari tours. Would I take this tour again- yes, excellent for the price.
Dear melb0urnetraveller00 Thank you for your comment! We are very happy that you enjoyed your tour in Santorini and we hope to see you again in one of our tours! Best regards
