Plongez dans les quartiers de la ville de Saint-Domingue lors de cette visite à pied à environ 5 minutes de la zone coloniale. Au cours de cette excursion d'une demi-journée, suivez vos guides locaux nés et élevés dans ces quartiers pour découvrir certains des lieux cachés locaux, arrêtez-vous à notre panneau de quartier, visitez une maison typique, dégustez des galettes dominicaines typiques ou un authentique hamburger dominicain (le hamburger est proposé dans la visite de l'après-midi et nous l'appelons "chimi"), dégustez du café dominicain, de la glace dominicaine (helado de fundita), découvrez le studio où la plupart des hits de dembow ont été produits et où les célébrités se sont rencontrées, des vues fantastiques de Saint-Domingue depuis notre téléphérique et empruntez notre métro moderne. Une promenade en bateau est également proposée à un prix supplémentaire pour passer sous six des ponts les plus importants de Saint-Domingue, visiter la première chapelle construite en Amérique, l'arbre où Christophe Colomb a amarré ses navires et le château du fils de Christophe Colomb où trois de ses générations ont vécu.

This tour was an outstanding experience! Mike was a great host and took us around the neighborhood where we got to experience authentic food and culture. This was a once in a lifetime experience I will remember for a lifetime. I highly recommend this tour for anyone who wants to see the most authentic parts of Dominican culture.
The Santo Domingo neighborhood tour was an awesome experience. Maiky did an excellent job of giving our group a history of the various communities within the neighborhoods of Santo Domingo. He facilitated our interactions with several people in the market area and community. Maiky know the city and the people. Sweet potato ice cream was an unexpected treat. Seeing the city from the cable cars and riding a jam packed metro train was quite an experience. I would recommend the tour for anyone who wants an authentic experience of Santo Domingo.

This tour was definitely a highlight of my trip to Santo Domingo. My tour guide, Mikey, was very kind, friendly, and knowledgeable. The tour offered a well-needed change in scenery and vibe from the carefully curated colonial zone. 10/10 experience - definitely book!
Had a great time walking through the streets of old Santo Domingo. It was a jam-packed morning even though a couple of stops were unavailable on the day we went. Definitely left an impression on us though, and we got right down the neighborhoods where the people live. This is an authentic experience not to be missed
Service not performed because no one at the scheduled appointment, no notice received regarding the cancellation of the excursion, by JRRJ Urbano Tours. No one at the rendezvous despite a wait of 20 minutes. Also need to take and pay a taxi to get there.
We made some research and realized that this booking was never made. We are sorry that you showed up and nobody was there but this was the reason. We’ll be more than happy to host one of our tours for you in the future.
Our tour guide was Mikey and he was super cool. We were actually 20 mins late and he was not upset at all! We still experienced the full tour even though we were late and we tasted a lot of different foods. IT was great. I would highly recommend !
Maiky was incredibly personable and knowledgeable. He’s been running this tour for two years and takes you through several barrios and neighborhoods. It was so great to have the chance to visit a few homes and colmadas and meet locals that make Santo Domingo so vibrant. I would definitely recommend this tour to groups or solo travelers.
We are well travelled and I think this is one of the best tours we have ever done ! Food and icecream, train and cable car not to mention our fantastic English speaking guide 😊 If you are travelling to SD this is a don’t miss tour
